These ladies where awesome. The place was packed and they were flying around making sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner! I saw one couple walk up and see the seating was full and return 30 minutes later( that tells you how good it is). I walked by during lunch just as busy. It tells you something when people wait or come back. If you go by stop in and eat drink and be Merry!! Saw a table of 4 order 3 pizzas and devour them!! This place is Great! Thanks Ladies for a great time and great food and beer!!!

One of the best places in the county, hands down! I can’t come here without getting the jalapeño poppers or fried pickles. Teresa is amazing and her crew bust their backsides to keep good food and drinks cranking out. Can’t recommend enough!

Nice comfy little place to eat with a good selection of different types of servings. They also had a decent selection of drinks. Staff was friendly and food was served in a reasonable amount of time. I love pretzels! Not deep fried loke i prefer but it was good all the same. Bonus gas fireplace in the corner for warmth in the winter. If you’re in Joseph plan to stop.

Great food and great prices. We went based on the word from a local. The live music was amazing! The inside seating was so humid though and couldn’t stay long. The calzone was amazing and I would suggest it to anyone it even comes with a great side salad

We have been coming to Joseph for 9 years and eat at Embers just about every year. We have always had a good experience, good food, and friendly staff—until this year. July 2023 will be the worst experience I’ve had at Embers (or any restaurant for that matter). I realize we come to Joseph every year the week after Chief Joseph Days and the town is spent. People are tired of people-I get it. But we have always supported the local businesses, do a lot of shopping and eat out at least twice while we camp all week (ALWAYS at La Laguna and Embers). Our family is so disappointed with Embers this year. The waitress was not pleasant (we are so sorry we touched the umbrella and stopped as soon as we saw the sticker under the umbrella that said not to touch it), all our food came out cold, one person in our party got his food after everyone else was about done eating. People that ordered after us were served before us. At least three people in our party didn’t feel well later that evening. This is the first time in the history of me being an adult (eating out and tipping), that I left a horrible tip and verbally expressed how horrible the food and service was. The server lost out on a big tip, and could have been bigger had she checked back more than once to get more drink orders. It seems like the food service industry has gone completely downhill these last few years. So sad.

One of the best restaurants in Joseph and the Wallowa’s. Their burgers are delicious here as they’re grilled on a Traeger for that excellent smoky flavor. Service is awesome and all the girl’s working are friendly and efficient. Carley was great while we were there and it just adds to the overall experience. Great little patio as well. Definitely a good place to dine while you’re visiting this area. Their pizza also looked great but didn’t have it…prices were fair as well!

I don’t know how to write an addendum to my earlier review so I am writing another one. I should have written amazing reviews all the other years we visited Embers to show how great they really are. Truly one bad year out of 9 is not bad at all. After speaking with the owner, it shows how much they care about their customers, the community, and the value of running a good, honest business. We will continue to support Embers as we have the past 9 years. We look forward to seeing you next year, Teresa, if not sooner!

Feels like your at a friend’s home. Great outdoor seating and pet Friendly. Good beers. Do your self a favor and get the calzone they have it down it’s got crisp crust and fillings that stay put with the sauce on the side that pairs perfectly. Hands down the best calzone I have ever had. The service was good and friendly as well I will definitely be back.

We brought our kids and our dog to Embers for dinner, and we were blown away. Best service, best food, best atmosphere! We loved it so much we went back for dinner the next night! Could not recommend more!
