Went in on a Sunday night around 6 and surprisingly it was very quiet. My husband ordered a vodka soda with lime and the waiter brought it out with a lemon saying “the bartender said it’s supposed to come like this” I’m sorry, I know it’s just a lemon vs a lime but we asked for a lime.

Something has changed recently, for the worse. Hopefully only the summer doldrums, and replacement staff for those who will soon return from vacation. Replacement bartender, drinks were short, compared to up the rim, with the regular bartender. Half an hour for a small pizza to be served after ordering. Unacceptable. Waiter said the kitchen was “backed up.” Really? Neither the parking lot nor the restaurant were”backed up.” I’ve been going there for 20 years, but one more experience like this, and I will go elsewhere.

Usually, I get their sliced steak platter but wanted something different. Got a grilled pork chop, which was dry, only saving grace was the mushroom gravy. Might have to stick with what I’ve had before, but I’ve heard some mixed reviews about the steak.

The only “person” that enjoyed their “famous sliced steak” was our dog Scooby and I even felt bad serving him this awful food. I haven’t had a meal this bad in my entire life.

We were greeted by Justine. She was very friendly as we were shown to our table. Justine was also our server. I had the tuna club sandwich which was outstanding, served with a generous helping of Cole slaw. Justine was very attentative, always with a smile on her face. Will definitely come back!

VERY BIZARRE!!! My wife and I went there this evening (5/13/2023). We were greeted by the host(a young Asian guy), we asked if we could eat outside since there were some open tables and the host sighed and made a face and seemed annoyed, so I said if we can’t inside is fine, he stopped, rolled his eyes and said ok so which is it, inside or outside? We chose inside. Then, he proceeded to take us to the back where it was crowded with open tables closer up front, so I asked if we could sit at this table I pointed to in front of the fireplace. Again, he was annoyed but gave in. We probably should have left but we were staving. Fortunately we had a nice waiter. My steak sandwich was so-so, my wife had a special that she said was fantastic. The host was rude and shouldn’t treat people like he did. He probably should NOT be dealing with people, as we heard him giving another party a difficult time about seating. Not a nice guy.
