We celebrated my mother’s 82nd birthday at Emil’s. It’s a good in between spot for our family — McMinnville, Murfreesboro, and Huntsville. The food was delicious. There were six of us, so we had a variety of different items. The filet was exactly as requested, the shrimp (ordered by two was fantastic, the chicken Daniel was delicious, the crab cake divine, and my fried chicken was perfect! All drinks were great! We love the old-house atmosphere, and the service was terrific! Can’t wait to go back!

The food was OUTSTANDING.We both had chicken.i believe it was chicken damien for me..omg!!!..the second night Salmon cooked to perfection. Had the grilled and blackened. Its a very cozy atmosphere. Fish with flavorless salmon as well as deep fried. Fries were not so good either. Sides were cold at 11:00 a.m.. the atmosphere was amazing in the service was great. Food was just not so Grand!

Another gem in Tullahoma. The food is consistently good, there is always a great variety of choices and the specials change often. The food here has never disappointed me. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the Chef always visits our table after our meal which is a nice personal touch. Also great for take out! Some people I’ve talked to have not tried Emil’s based on the prices. They say I can’t afford to eat there. Just like any restaurant out there, there are some pricy dishes offered but there are also great affordable options on the menu here every week. My favorite meals here are the fried green tomatoes with homemade pimento cheese and of course, the full fried chicken meal. Both very affordable and both just damn delicious! And if the Buttermilk fried chicken with bacon jam is on the menu, order two plates. It’s that good 🙂
