I purchased the brisket dinner with strawberry lemonade. The brisket was seasoned well and tender. I enjoyed my sides and the strawberry lemonade was great. Yet I think what stood out was owners/staff. It reminded me of home bc they were so hospitable.

If they answer the phone—, they’re open. I guess. Their hours listed on line are a fiction.

Ordered the sliced brisket dinner. The brisket was sliced with the grain, which made it quite chewy. Looks like other pics of the same are sliced properly though, so this was likely a one off. The flavor was good overall but the mac and cheese was pretty stale.

That max and cheese took me all the way home. The pulled pork and brisket were so melt in your mouth soft, and their hot bbq sauce is so damn good. Loved it! Great value for the quality of food.

Ate at CenturyLink field. Had a BBQ pork sandwich and it was 3 bites of meat on a bun. The BBQ sauce they give you weighed more than the meat. It was $15.49. The flavor of the 3 bites was good though. Would not go back due to the miniscule portions and high cost.

3 dinners without the cornbread. Not one sauce and the sides were mixed up. I was in a rush and didn’t check the boxes. How could anyone forget the cornbread. What is this world coming too. 2nd takeout was awesome. They made all wrongs right. The staff was welcoming, friendly, conversational and assuring. The food was SCRUMPTIOUS! I won’t comment on the peach cobbler. Give it a try. It’d be nice if they were open more.

First time at Emma’s BBQ today and decided to stop by after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint! Right when I walked in, I was greeted and felt at home. Great customer service! I got the beef brisket dinner with Mac and cheese, potato salad, cornbread and also the blackberry lemonade. Everything I had was so flavorful and can’t wait to come back again!

Did NOT Disappoint! Ive been meaning to get in this place for a while now and I finally caught em while they were open. Short on time and almost out of lunch options. I drove by and seen that Emma’s was open. So I thought ribs are always an acceptable option in my world so let me see what Emma’s is about… As I walked in I was kindly greeted by an nice lady (not sure if she was Emma or not) but she reminded me of My Grandmother a bit. I placed my order and I assume for several reasons (covid, space, staffing) there was no dine inside option. But there were a few picnic tables out front yet it was too brisk for me to sit and dine plus I had to get back to work. I ordered the RIB DINNER with Mac and Cheese, Potato salad, and a Strawberry Lemonade. They kindly bought my freshly prepared meal out to my vehicle…and BABYYY BYEEEE! I hit the ribs first because they were the star of the show…first taste with No sauce OMG! it’s tender, juicy, generously seasoned, and smoked to perfection! Then I hit it with the mild sauce OMG It’s falling off the bone!! Potato Salad on point! Not watery, not mashed potato salad with mushy potatoes, got all the right fixins and seasoning. And next up some RESPECTABLE Mac and Cheese! You know the old fashioned kind not the new age craft Mac n cheese sauced consistency (no disrespect some of them are good but No)…This was the one where you still see that cheese pull and noodles seasoned like somebody cared. It’s not the best in my life because I leave that to my Momma but it’s close enough and as I said RESPECTABLE! And Lastly the Strawberry Lemonade fresh strawberry pulp a nice amount of sweetness and a lil pinch from the lemon to make ya close ya eyes like somebody kissed ya. Idk how the rest of the food taste but this was definitely a great start and good enough to get my attention to write y’all this novel on my experience unsolicitedly …I just had to give these folks their flowers! Keep it going Emma’s and keep it consistent! You have won me over so far!

I lived in the South for over 10 years before moving to Seattle and Emma’s has some of the best barbecue in the city. All the sides I’ve had have been amazing, but the greens are still my favorite. Plus everyone is always so friendly and welcoming when I go there!

Edit: They now charge an extra $5 for a Mac and cheese only side. They advertise any 2 sides. I will not be going back for a while.
