We’ve always loved this place- gone for years and it seems the quality has really gone down hill. I don’t eat red meat often but the burgers definitely aren’t real anymore- the young people working there don’t seem to know what they’re doing or have much respect either. I notice they leave people standing longer than they used to as a result as well. I’m very unimpressed with the quality and cooking of the food now. Haven’t had the chicken but I’ll ask about it next. Never getting one of their burgers again and honestly I have half a mind to say something because we’ve felt like we wasted our money the last two times we’ve gone bc of this. I’m sorry but if it’s not real that’s a 2$ burger not 6$! I can’t believe this is something we even have to worry about. Trust and believe not every country does. But we as a family do not consume dyes, bioengineered, or lab made foods and we appreciate disclosure about these things. I asked about the milkshakes once before this because it doesn’t taste as real anymore either. For those who don’t eat processed foods, our taste buds notice these things. I asked and got looked at like I was crazy. She had no idea how to respond to what products they use or if the milkshakes have changed. It’s a question for Emma herself I’m sure but these are important questions I feel the staff should be able to tell people – or at the very least appear helpful and try to get the information or someone who has it. Don’t stare at me like I’m wasting your time because we like to be aware of what we put in our bodies. The fried mushrooms are awesome I will say.

This small off the main road is a great little drive in to make a special trip. The food was delicious especially the fried mushrooms with ranch dressing. Don’t miss out on the Amish community’s that surround this area.

For the first time, we were a bit disappointed with our pizza. Not a big fan of putting the cheese on first. This usually causes the crust to undercook. The toppings seemed fresh and tasty but the whole pizza could’ve been cooked a bit longer. There was no browning of the toppings at all. No cheese on top at all. When we opened the box, it looked like an uncooked pizza that you’d take home to bake. Granted, this pizza had everything but pineapple and tomatoes so it does need a bit longer to cook. I’m not sure if they use a conveyor oven or a regular pizza deck oven. Either way, let it cook a bit longer.

I always love eating here and don’t get to very often however the last time I was there as I stood at the counter waiting for my food I noticed no one wearing gloves and touching my food the one lady was pulling footers out with her bare hands another was carrying handfuls of some type of what looked like chicken strips to the fryer bare handed and up against her shirt chest area im sure they wash there hands. and the food was still very good however it would be better and sanitary if they were gloves. Someone please make these people wear gloves the food is great but should also be sanitary.
