Delicious Detroit style deep dish pizza — the crust is just right (taste, thickness, and just the right amount of crispy). The Caesar salad kept me from giving five stars — just shredded lettuce and dressing. The decor is pretty much the same as when the Grit occupied the space. Friendly servers and a good bar selection — unfortunately no draft beer but they do have cans. One pizza did feed three of us, with two pieces each.

Wonderful experience! Caroline was our server and she was friendly, and stayed on top of bringing everything out effectively and keeping our classes full. The pizza was amazing!! Wonderful fresh flavors. My husband typically only likes thin crust pizzas but he asked them to cook this extra crispy and he loved this “deep dish” style pizza because of how fresh and great the flavor was, including the crust. Me and my husband shared an appetizer, the fries, and pizza and we took half the appetizer and half the pizza home to have for dinner. 10/10 wonderful place!

A welcome addition of this Detroit-style pizza chain to the Athens casual dining scene. Ordered the Margerita pizza, which was well executed. The exterior of the crust was appropriately crunchy and the interior was soft — as a well executed Detroit-style pizza should be. The toppings tasted good, but not exceptional.

Unique and delicious pizza, but the other menu items (including drinks) do not disappoint either! Prices are slightly higher than other places nearby, but the food is well worth it. The staff was friendly and we didn’t have to wait too long for a table even on a busy night. Perfect spot for dinner with friends, when family comes into town, or even a nice date night. Will absolutely be back!!

Highly recommend! Food and drinks were amazing! I had the frozen pomegranate margarita with the garlic cheese sticks and a chicken Caesar salad. All of it was amazing – especially the garlic sticks, they were incredible! The rest of the table all got different pizzas and everyone loved theirs!

We absolutely loved the pizza, it’s somewhat unique among the millions of pizza places in Athens. Not sure whether it’s Detroit or NY style, but it is a beautiful thing to eat. The Zia Fries appetizer was really delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with great toppings. Madeline, our server, (almost certainly misspelled) was fabulous and the restaurant is nicely done. Emmy’s will be a regular stop for us.

BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD! We ordered a side of pepperoni for my husband’s service dog and they took the time to make the cutest little bone instead of just dropping them in a ramekin. The manager Scott is the nicest man! OMG and the house made vodka sauce is life changing! SHOUT OUT TO OUR GIRL KYLIE THE BEST BARTENDER FO SHO!

Whole Pizza was enough to serve one big eater or 2 very small eaters to the tune of $25.00 +, not to mention they tried to slide in a $3.00+ tip on their online ordering website. The food was good, but not that good. The picture of the pizza shows 2 of the 6 pieces, therefore if you are trying to feed a group of people, you will be looking at a very large meal ticket.

This place has one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We ordered the hawaiian, a margherita, and a custom with fried chicken and bacon. They were all delicious. I also had their frozen pomegranate margarita, and it was great. The service was amazing. Definitely give this place a try.

Ordered delivery through Doordash and our order was prepared and delivered with lightening speed. The mozzarella sticks were so fresh and probably the best I’ve ever had. Their marinara sauce is super tasty. I ordered the original cheese pizza and the crust was so crispy and delicious. The seasoned waffle fries are also super yummy. 10/10 would order again!
