Empanada king has been my go2 food for about 2 years now & I don’t get tired of them! Love that they opened up this Scranton location because I’m always here! I must say I had high expectations for this place since the reviews were good. First the prices are way too high. $4 for one.. come on. Secondly the juice price is beyond ridiculous. My mango smoothie was more like a liquid slushy. I ordered about $60 in various ones and the only ones I found to be on was the veggie and the spinach one. All of them are lacking in seasoning. I really wanted to like this place but it sadly did NOT live up to the hype. The lady who took our order was very nice though and it is for her they get 2 ☆s.

I’ve ordered here before and their food is amazing and their service is usually pretty good, they’ve never given me an issue. However, I placed an order and every fifteen minutes the arrival time would change. An hour passed so I decided to call the store, the person who answered the phone was very rude. “Yes your order is sitting here no one is picking it up”. After that phone call 5 minutes later I received a notification saying my order was cancelled. I’m just upset primarily with the way the phone was answered because I always have such a great experience, so this was a first.

I definitely give a 5+ star, the food is so good, it’s hot, it’s fresh, it’s perfection and so many different kind of empanadas, from meat to breakfast to sweet. The staff is so friendly, sweet and polite, I just love talking w them when I go in. Most importantly the place is so clean!! Keep up the good work!!

I was happy with the portion of the food but I did not like the service of the cashier, didn’t seem patient and looked in fact annoyed and we didn’t even take long to order. Slightly overpriced. The cheese was dry, salami was burnt to a crisp. Very generous with the fries but only like three small slices of cheese and salami. Do like the look of the place though it’s cute.

Today was my first day and I love the empanadas I ask for shrimp and chicken. So delicious service was so good staff are very nice so very good place to eat something different then Friday and Saturday their open until 3 Am. And very clean
