Shake a malts were good, the building and grounds have deteriorated significantly over the past five years. Not a great price and the place is run down. Probably going to avoid on our next trip unless some of the profits get put back into the business.

Extremely quiet little burger joint with very fresh patties and the shakes are incredible! They let you pick up to 2 flavors without extra charge! The peanut butter and banana combo make a really nice afternoon treat! I highly recommend this place if you’re passing through!! Very worth it!

I enjoyed Empire Dairy King twice on my visit to Colorado. The half pound beef burger was delicious. I got it with bacon and cheddar cheese. Delicious real bacon! I also tried the bison burger. Also quite tasty. The bun and toppings on the burgers were great. The cajun chicken sandwich was perfectly grilled. Their strawberry milkshake was excellent. I would recommend the fries without salt or very light salt, the first time they were too salty. Their view from the outdoor dining deck is gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

The BEST spot for fries / burgers / chicken fingers / mozzarella sticks + more! Their menu is huge and they have unique drinks like Italian soda & malts (so so good!) staff is great and they have indoor / outdoor seating – HIGHLY recommend

I travel to Denver for medical treatment often. I make sure to stop here every single time! Their milkshakes are phenomenal, especially chocolate base with butterscotch. I love the 1/4 burger as the proportions are perfect for me.

Old school place to get a good burger and fries. The large fries could feed three to four people, the burgers are on the smaller side but are tasty and there are lots of topping options to dress it up as you like. Seating inside and out and bathrooms inside too. I thought it was a little expensive for what we got but it was all good food. The ice cream was average and I’d skip that next time and stick with burgers and fries.

I’ve been going here for years. I grew up in Colorado and this was always a place we’d take friends on our way to the mountains. Since moving to Dallas, we come back to Colorado a couple of times a year and visit Dairy King because we’ve always enjoyed it. This last trip was the worst service I’ve experienced, the food was average and not sure I’ll be going back.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. We did look at this place and thought to turn away. But we gave it a go since we were hungry. I ordered the black bean burger and my husband got the regular burger. We shared a large order of sweet potato fries. Was perfect! We hadn’t had breakfast but this will satisfy us well into the evening. The burgers were nicely packed and was warm.
