I love Cincinnati style chili. There are a lot of chili parlors close to my house. I choose to drive 30 minutes to the only remaining Empress Chili. I think most of the chili parlors taste similar. As does this one. The portion on my four-way was a bit larger here though. The prices are definitely better here than it’s competitors. So, what you get for your money is definitely more here. The staff was wonderful. You absolutely need to drive here to try this food. 8/1/2023 we ate there again. Just wow. The portions were humongous. This is some of the best tasting food I’ve ever had. I absolutely love this place.

I’ve ate at this location a lot but lately all the lunch meat has thick rind all through out the sandwich’s. I can deal with that as the food is normally fairly decent. I’m most upset at the service when the adult owners are not working. The kids that are working there could care less. Four times in a row now they looked at me crazy when I pull up and tell them I submitted an online order. They don’t check! I use to call the orders in but was encouraged to use the online portal. So I wait for them to make my food while watching the kids goof around. I didn’t want to leave a bad review and sent a message via Facebook because I would want to know this as an owner and my message was read but ignored. Don’t use the online portal!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. I come here every year on my birthday. Their Chili Pizza is my favorite item, but you can order anything… and it’ll be good. What I’m also impressed with… is the staff. Always polite, always friendly, and more than anything… they make the experience truly terrific! ❤️ 5/5

I just having lunch with the owner and his daughter of Empress Chili and we have discussed several things about the brand and the quality of Empress Chili and I am here to tell you there is none other if you have never tried them you don’t know what you’re missing. And their prices are very reasonable! Everybody Talks Of Skyline and gold star Chili. But so many don’t realize that the skyline brothers that started their brand got their start at Empress Chili years ago. So blessings too the Martin family and thank you so much for keeping such a true Cincinnati traditional life even through the covid scare.
