Service was good but the food was just okay. The sizzling beef was good and had a cool table side assembly and cooking demonstration but I was so disappointed with my Sizzling Duck because it was not even warm 🙁 ruined the whole thing for me.

Slightly higher class atmosphere with good Chinese food. The building is beautiful inside and out. The food comes out a little faster than other sit down restaurants. They have all the classics for typical Chinese food and I have yet to get a bad piece of chicken.

Went to Empress of China for lunch yesterday (3/2/19) and had a fantastic experience! As always, the food was good, the people were nice, the service was exceptional and the prices were reasonable. The Veggie Delight, egg rolls and egg drop soup didn’t disappoint. And the hot tea….so good! This Flint staple didn’t disappoint!

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Michigan! The service was also amazing. Very accommodating to my young daughter. Shrimp and lobster sauce is to die for! And the egg drop soup has so much flavor! I’ll definitely be there again!

i have been dining at the Empress since it was known as Forbidden City Restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are very friendly. beef, chicken, and pork dishes are all wonderful and the spicier, the better! Their Hot & Sour Soup for Two with scallops is outstanding!

Love this place take out available. Best Chinese place I have been to. Located on South Dort, the atmosphere is relaxing the staff are fairly friendly and attentive and prices are decent. Always call for lunch takeout with the coworkers. Their Eggrolls for dinner are absolutely huge.

Excellent as always. The owner is the host and greets you at the door. We had 815pm reservations. We walked in at about 805 and our table was ready. Tonight was our Valentine’s dinner for my girlfriend and I. Excellent food. The service is outstanding. I’m never disappointed.
