If you’re looking for cheap Chinese food, this is the place. We ordered 2 combination plates, and the wait involved other people, who ordered after, getting their food back before us. Maybe ordering online is quicker. The rice in the combination platters is dry and the Szechuan chicken is primarily filled with vegetables. Basic service, basic prices, basic food.

The new website’s are lacking in description of the food and don’t allow you to customize beyond what they have listed. We were continually ordering food from the creasy lane location but I think we’re going to have to leave this restaurant as a choice. We always order delivery and now I don’t trust what I’m ordering online from door dash. Fix your website please and make it more detailed. And what is not chicken fried rice?

I’ve loved this restaurant for almost 30 years. When I come to Lafayette, I make it a point to get their chicken and broccoli. I’ve had Chinese-American food in major metro hubs (Chicago, LA, NYC, Seattle) – and En Lai compares to them (and sometimes exceeds them). En Lai forever!

We got carry out and the food was delicious and well made. My bean Curd with mushrooms was fantastic!! Lots of fresh mushrooms and tofu in this delicious dish!! I highly recommend it!! My friend had General Tso Chicken and was delighted with his also! Portion sizes on carry out were big enough for 2 people, and the flavor was fantastic, especially for the very reasonable price!! Meals came with a pint of rice each, 2 fortune cookies each, and sauce packets enough for the rice or food. Will definitely buy from here again!!

quick and easy chinese place. take out took ~10 minutes! large portions and cheap price (you get what you pay for, of course. but well worth the price if you’re looking for quick, easy, and filling).

Good food. Can’t get an order correct to save their lives though so if you want mystery Chinese then go ahead, order. I know it’s family owned but it was 40$ for two people.

Sesame shrimp was ok, and the dumplings had a very thick wrap but were tasty nonetheless. The fried rice, though, was an odd orange color and didn’t appear or taste fried at all.

We heard good things about this place but I can’t say food quality wise it was that great. Kristine had Beef with Broccoli and it ended up coming with mushrooms which was not listed as it coming with mushrooms or we would have had them not use mushrooms.
