Everything here was so good and everyone was so nice! It’s a relatively small space so best to make reservations beforehand. The miso salmon was the best I ever had and the meatballs and sausage were so soft and flavorful. Would definitely come back again!!

Great concept and the food was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere felt very homely. This place is like a third place for our family, a place to try out the different cultural foods. I would come often to try out the other dishes on the menu as the entree portions are filling. Double check with the portions as grandmas love to stuff you as much food as they can 😉 Most of the menu is prepared by Nonna Maria and each day would have a guest grandma preparing a few dishes.

The food is great home cooked by a visiting Nonna (grandma). Tonight we had Italian. Perfectly cooked pasta and sausage. The couple next to us had the bronzini which looked great. The service is absolutely lovely. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only take cash or now Venmo. Neither of which we had. It was a scramble to try to install Venmo, then my wife had to run out to a machine.

If you are ever in Staten Island and feeling hungry you could do no better than to stop at Enoteca Maria. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal.

The food tastes like grandma’s made with love and care. The atmosphere is welcoming, quirky and fun. The wine is very good. The owner, service, all the nonas, Nona Maria ❤️ are very sweet and caring. This place feels like a magical land on a deserted island. It feels surreal and abstract. It’s all good. Makes me feel welcomed and Nona Maria hugs are worth to go back again!

I called on Friday for a Saturday reservation, there was only one available at 1pm. When we arrived we were greeted by Paola. She informed us that the Uzbekistan Nonna would not be in until 3pm.

This place is magic. Everything was soooo well done. They were so welcoming and kind. I can’t recommend it enough. Definitely worth the ride on the ferry.

Very good food, friendly, professional service, eclectic, whimsical decor. As with much of Staten Island, it’s up a steeply pitched street, making it a bit of a chore for seniors to reach without a car. Our party of four, all experienced eaters, left happy, satisfied, and eager to return (via Uber).

I can’t praise this restaurant highly enough! I recommend everyone who reads this review to book a table immediately – you will not regret it and experience a very special evening. The concept offers every week changing dishes from all over the world, prepared by a Nonna from the respective country. But the menu also offers enduring house classics. The food was fanatical on both of our visits and was truly prepared with heart. In addition, there is an excellent selection of wines from all around the world. Topping it all off is the excellent service. Very attentive and courteous service made us feel right at home. The whole team really cares that you have a very good time. Thank you for that and see you soon!
