My wife and I were regulars at Coltello in Crosswick, the former home to many of the team at Entrata. It’s great to see them all find a home in the lovely town of Hopewell.

Had an excellent lunch date here with my girlfriend. We started with a really delicious course of Arancini riceballs with really delicious cheese and other stuffings inside so good, and a side of Patatas Bravas a spiced spanish potato dish. The potatoes had such a nice crisp all around and delicious flavor. My girlfriend had an outstanding carbonara served on red pepper linguini. I had a super super good Banh Mi sandwich one of the best things ive ever tasted delicious pork with amazing pickled vegetables really good bun and the very friendly and helpful waiter hooked me up with the cider glazed brussel sprouts instead of fries as id already had potatoes and they were the best brussel sprouts ive ever had very tasty, delicious flavor.

Food is delicious, service is outstanding, staff are really friendly. We loved the grilled octopus, arancini, lamb, seafood risotto, hangar steak, pineapple fritters, and panna cota. Nice that it’s BYOB. Will definitely come again!

The menu is small, which is a good thing. The selection of dishes indicates that the chef has a profound understanding of Mediterranean and middle Eastern cuisine. The quality of the ingredients is high and everything was prepared to order. The prices are decent. The lamb burger was excellent, and the patty contained some typical Turkish spices like mint. Also excellent were the spaghetti carbonara, very smooth and silky. A must-try are the handcut fries. Some dishes could have benefited from some more salt, but salt can always be added to taste, so this was a minor issue to us.

Now that things are getting better with COVID we decided to go out to dinner with friends and they chose this place. Over the past 10 years this space has seen a fair bit of turnover but I hope Entrata is here to stay! We ordered the “chef’s table” where he makes the decisions for a 5 course meal. The friendly server suggested it and asked us a few questions so that chef could design something to suit our tastes. We did not regret placing ourselves in his hands! The octopus appetizer, pork loin and other yummy dishes kept coming out of the kitchen and we loved it! We’ll definitely be back!!

It was wonderful! Our dishes for lunch were absolutely delicious! Our waiter/server was friendly and attentive. I had the fried stuffed squash blossoms and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich with hand fries. We really enjoyed every bite. I would definitely go back and recommend it to family and friends.

A real comfortable down home feel to this place. I had the special that night which was fried chicken and it was great. Definitely a unique dining experience here with the chef creating his own twist on a variety of dishes. Is they say”special” give it a try.

This place is easily worth an hour drive. This is white table cloth quality with a more casual vibe. It’s a dining experience that is delicious. If you do a tasting make sure you have some time. The food tastes amazingly fresh, and recipes are well thought out… we will be back for sure. I could not more highly recommend a visit.

Have eaten here 4 or 5 times, last visit was the best so far. The tuna taratre and fried tomatoes appetizers were fantastic. The veal dish I had was huge and perfectly seasoned. Fish dishes are good, pasta is homemade. The place is a sleeper in in sleepy Hopewell, the set back location (former firehouse) hides it from street view, so it’s easily missed. Contemporary decor, outside tables, and they open the converted firehouse garage doors in good weather, so you can eat inside but still be enjoying outside air.

3rd time coming here, leave speechless every time. I usually don’t leave reviews but this place deserves it. From the start; the bread is homemade! The appetizers are filled with flavor, can’t go wrong with octopus or rice balls. For entrees I’ve had the lamb and steak and it is grilled to perfection. Dessert also homemade, pure deliciousness! I’ve had the pana cotta, Apple fritters and cannolis. This is a place where the chef puts his passion into the food. Not to mention I travel one hour to get here for dinner with girlfriend! Try it out, I assure you’ll be back for more!
