First time here. Hidden away a bit off the main street but not hard to find. Luv the atmosphere and ambiance, super classy and elegant with superb service. We drink a lot of water and they kept on top of it which I loved. Had an appetizer plus 4 course menu and waters…$215 with tip as noted in the footnotes section. Calamari appetizer was delicious as well as the Caesar and Artichoke salads. Bread with different toppings was very good. Had NY strip which was good, didn’t much care for the sweet sauce/mix with the eggplant part though. Grouper was good with the dirty rice risotto but expected more of a punch of spice on my palate based on the description. Had the campfire story and early riser for dessert, wasn’t really a fan of the flavor combinations and presentations for either one. I think one and done is good for me.

After some confusion at the door, it was such a flawless night. The food was superb the service is like nothing else you will find anywhere close by. What a gem for Columbus to have. Absolutely the right spot to celebrate being with my husband for 15 years! The attention to detail is a game changer between course management and presentation!

We came to Epic with very high expectations given their well managed media representation and reviews. Honestly we assumed that this is likely one of the best if not the best restaurant in Columbus to find that it sure is not. We left the place thoroughly disappointed. The positive things first: The restaurant has a great atmosphere, fantastic interior design and decent service. The representation of the food is top notch. However, as for any restaurant goer, we went there to eat and not (only) to experience the ambiance. Unfortunately the food did not even closely meet our expectations. The only real good dish was the Foie Gras. The duck was tough even though it was medium as requested. The halibut was overcooked. The mahi mahi was good but the scallops had a strange texture (possibly overcooked). The raw oysters were OK. The desserts were not a good experience at all. The chocolate tart was like a cracker and we did not even eat it and the other desert was rather ‘tasteless’ which was astounding considering the great representation.

Very few places I will give a 5 star. This one is well deserved. Did not have a reservation and apparently with the hostess was not a good thing. Asked to seat at the bar and he was not very inviting.after asking more than one time he lets us sit. After that the whole experience turn great. It is a set menu you pick from. When we were there it was a 4 course meal and it was amazing. You can tell the chef or chefs are first class. The bartender made our night especial. Very knowledgeable of drinks, food and very happy to be working there. Gave us a tour of the kitchen and the whole restaurant. That was a treat. It is on the expensive side, but we’ll worth the money.

Had our moms 65th Birthday Dinner in the Library in August and everything was top tier. Our menu that we had for the night was absolutely delicious. Jennifer and Diego were our servers and they were A-1. They were knowledgeable of the restaurant and they had a sense of humor. My mom and all of the guests loved it and we can’t wait to visit again!

Epic is the most amazing restaurant! Jamie Keating is owner and an excellent Chef! Every course and item on the menu is absolutely wonderful! Bartender James is great along with his waiter sidekick! It doesn’t get any better with food, ambiance, and service. Once you experience the Epic Restaurant you will understand why Chef Keating has won so many awards for his cooking skills over the years. A true Columbus gem!

Love, love, love this place. My wife and I have been here at least 4 times I think. I proposed here, we’ve had just about every Valentines Day here since being in the area. The food is excellent, the chef or chef’s are extraordinary, and the service is undoubtedly the greatest ever. Epic is hands down the best restaurant I’ve been too.
