The owner blocked me on Facebook for posting a review about my bad experience at the restaurant. The waitstaff was friendly, but I had to go to the host station 3 times for things that were not offered when we were sat or served(cutlery, napkins, straws). The food was a mix of over and under cooked. It took 45 minutes to be served, with only 6 tables in the building. When we left, 3 kitchen employees were out back smoking. The restaurant was cold, and the atmosphere was off-putting.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast on my way home from a Vermont vacation. A real genuine GEM! Pancakes and home fries were delicious and the worlds greatest breakfast sandwich lived up to the name.

Been waiting for a good place to get Poutine. This is it. It was awesome. Had it with a burger. It, too, was great. We will surely come back again. Nice clean place. Wonderful artwork for sale, all over the inside of the restaurant.

Recommended by the manager of our campground and we were not disappointed! I had The Vermonter and it was huge and delicious! The apple on the sandwich was so crisp. The fries were tasty too but I had no room after that big sandwich 🙂

VERMONT IS UNDER WATER!!! We traveled all across Vermont, and tried to stop at several places along the way for some pancakes and Vermont maple syrup. Places were flooded out, roads were closed and we couldn’t navigate to them with a camper in tow or supplies/stock had missed delivery rendering pancakes off the menu. We took one last chance with this restaurant. Let me tell you, Vermont saved the best for last.

Excellent food and service! Loving the new salad bar but wish they had some fruit selections on it to mix with the cottage cheese. A little on the pricey end but worth the money. Absolutely recommend to anyone who’s hungry and looking for some down home cooking!
