stopped in here hoping to find some good vegan/vegetarian options and were not disappointed! i went for the sesame tofu (vegan) and it came loaded with super fresh produce as well as piping hot fried tofu. my vegetarian partner had the tropical fried rice with tofu as well. overall super delicious and very affordable!

Honestly, I did not expect to find delicious Asian food in Idaho Springs, Co, but here it is. Don’t hesitate to come here, it is YUMMY. There was a TV with sports on, a cozy fireplace in the corner, and excellent service. 10/10 recommend. Lots of delicious food on the menu.

Place was quiet with not to many patrons, we were asked to sit wherever we wanted. Atmosphere was nice. Menu options were typical Chinese restaurant. We were served, food looked delicious. Chicken was a little unseasoned even tho it was covered in sauce. Only negative comment is they use MSG so if you have an intolerance you could ask for them not to use it otherwise you may be in for an awful experience. Prices were a reasonable for two people.

It is an understatement to say this food was amazing. The chef clearly loves what he/she does and the quality of the food shows it. The Panang Curry was exceptional with crisp, fresh-cut vegetables, and the extra $2 for the shrimp upgrade was out-of-this-world. Perfectly cooked juicy jumbo shrimp (6 pieces)! I’m still dreaming about it. The total for dinner was really inexpensive— just $38 for two people including a drink and two small bowls of soup! The waiter also went out of his way to turn on nice music and a roaring fire even though we were the only ones there on a Thursday evening. The restaurant itself seemed like a dive, but I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends! What a gem. Thank you!!!!

I stopped in for the 1st time before hitting the hot springs. I got an order of the won tons as an appetizer and the Beef & Broccoli lunch. It included soup. I chose Egg Drop and it was delightful! The Beef and Broccoli was just perfect, as were the won tons! I will definitely return!

Eric’s Asian Cafe is a hidden gem. Typically, when you’re coming back down the mountain roads traveling through Idaho Springs the little Asian place that spots your eye tends not to be anybody’s first choice, usually these kinds of places in more remote areas are a bit sketchy. Eric’s is not. Very kind staff and some of the best red Thai curry I’ve ever had. The curry is sweet and spicy and you get a lot!! Will be returning!

Pretty cheap for what you get. Veg rolls were crispy and fantastic. Pad Thai was not authentic and didn’t have the traditional flavor with peanuts etc. But it did have a lot of tofu and veggies and was sumptuous. So overall, I liked the place.
