Best American diner I’ve ever tried! Everything is delicious and homemade. There’s nothing negative about this place at all! Be careful since it can get pretty packed during busy hours. Also, it’s worth mentioning that once I got eggs, which were cooked in a way that I didn’t like, and I regretted it, but thanks to the kind waitress she got me new eggs cooked well with no additional charge. It really is American hospitality at its finest! 100% recommend!

We went here for breakfast. I got the full order of biscuits and gravy. It was so so good. Their gravy was really good. And they didn’t skimp on it either. I would have loved it on chicken/country fried steak but I didn’t see it on the menu. My kids got burgers and really liked them and we’re so glad that at 7:30 am they could order lunch/dinner items. I would definitely go back again. Also the waitress was super nice and attentive. Food, prices, and service was great.

As good as it was 30 years ago. The place runs like a well oiled machine— food comes out super fast (important for breakfast, since I’m hungry from the time I wake up!). Only one server running the whole floor for most of our visit and the dude almost made it look easy.

Wow! Graduation weekend in Columbia MO! We were seated fast which was amazing. Our server worked his absolute tail off with a smile and great service! Best waffle I have ever had. The order was right, food was hot and garnished, cooked properly. If they can pull that off on Graduation weekend when every establishment is packed, they have everything under control. Great reputation going in. We will be going back. You should DEFINITELY stop in and enjoy their hospitality and foods.

Ernie’s proves that you can have all three. Great, Fast, and Cheap! The staff was super friendly, hustled, and made sure my coffee was always topped off. The food was served quickly, was delicious, and was the perfect proportions. I had the Belgian Waffle, hash browns and bacon. I love my hash crispy, and these were perfect! The waffle was cooked to perfection as well. Oh, and I had an up and coming artists as my server!
