Everything we had was great! Can definitely tell that the food is made from scratch and not a frozen product. This place is bringing back some life that is much needed in the area. Delicious food and beverage selections. SO MANY CRAFT BEERS, many of which are local and in tap. Great crew working hard to give friendly fast service. Can’t wait to come back to this neighborhood gem. This place has got the bones of longevity to create their own Rockford history. Love every detail in the fabric of Ernie’s, from the beautifully restored building, the liquor selection, and local memorabilia on the walls.

My 1st time stopping in here! It is a bit outside of where I normally go in Rockford, but my family loves this place so I met them for cocktails. Bartender was super friendly, really cool selection of beers and just a great vibe. I encourage everyone to check it out!

We came here with friends before we went to the Ice Hogs game and loved every minute. The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. I had a bourbon old fashion and my wife had some kinda cherry lemonade drink that she really enjoyed. We shared both a grilled chicken sandwich and a chicken Ceasars wrap and found them both to be yummy. The prices were comparable to similar places and the service was awesome. The waitress was quick to answer any questions we may of had and they got our food out to us in a timely manner. We were planning our return before we finished our meals.

Ernie’s Midtown Pub was a great place for food and fun. The bartender was helpful with my food selection and enjoyed talking with us. Very modern looking place. Well cleaned and easy on the eyes. Nice look for a midtown bar and grille. The salad was outstanding. Also, quiet enough for two or three friends to carry on a conversation!

We started with bruschetta- amazing. Then, had the jalapeño grilled cheese with tater tots and their wings with waffle fries! Everything was good! I like my wings on the saucier side, so I requested a side of more sauce. It came quick and made it perfect.

The food is good considering this is a bar. Service is good – the servers are always friendly and fast. Make sure you tip them well because they deserve it! I’m not much of a beer drinker but the beer selections seemed pretty good.
