The steak was beautiful! Everything was made fresh to order and was served at the perfect temperature. the perfect amount of char made this one of my favorite places to eat after a long day of cycling. The staff was as excited to take care of me as I was to eat there. Very friendly and appealing environment. The salad greens were crisp and the mashed potatoes were home made. Overall great experience!

Great Experience…1st time for us & we will be back! Service was excellent and all of the FOOD we ordered was delicious…I recommend the Calamari & Kabobs for appetizers & obviously a STEAK! Ernie Jr. Was Our Server & He Was Awesome!!! We will be back to see him & get the deep fried cheesecake!

I had a feeling this place was going to be good, but it actually ended up exceeding my expectations. Everything was so good. We got cheese curds, fried zucchini, milet mignon, lobster and the fried cheesecake. The cocktails are wonderful. Our server Miss Pamela was a doll as well.

Want to Ernie’s Steakhouse after church to try it out. I have seen many reviews both good and bad. I tried the oyster Rockefeller’s and they tasted as if they were seasoned with too much pepper. Then I tried the soup and it was too hot to eat (because it was microwaved). I then tried the 6 oz filet mignon and asked for it to be cooked well done. When I finally got it and sliced it in half it was so raw that it started to bleed. The only thing I ate was the baked potato. I will not be going back.

Overpriced. Ordered $160 king crabs legs barely warm, and they put a sauce all over them, never specified that!! Another had crab pasta special with a white wine sauce, sauce was thick like alfredo, and the crab was in shells( very hard to eat without getting all over).

Prime rib special wasn’t that bad but was not up to par. Most dinners seem about 10 bucks higher that other area restaurants. We had great service but food and drink was just OK so not really worth the premium.

Went on a Friday night. No waiting. Ernie Jr. was our waiter. No complaints. Very personable and attentive. Had a 20 oz. Bone in Rib-eye steak. Cooked perfect and tasted great. Appetizers were awesome. Highly recommend Ernie’s Steakhouse.

Ernie’s Steakhouse was one of the best meals I have eaten in the Northwest Indiana area in a long time. We were served by Ernie Jr. He was attentive to our table and had a wonderful personality. The steak was absolutely delicious. We will be back for absolute certain.
