Went here my last night in Portland and had an amazing time. Even tried line dancing because they were doing it that particular Friday. So many great beer choices, wonderful service, lovely gay decorations, a variety of seating options. Wish we had a place like this in my Portland (East Coast ️ )

The Escape bar on Sandy boulevard provides a wonderful accepting environment. The bartenders and staff have always been super friendly and the food is good. They have one pool table, multiple small tables as well as a few larger tables. Definitely a place to go if you are in the LGBTQ society.

My friend and I were about to go into the escape bar and grill to have a drink and beat the heat the moment we walked in the waitress or bartender was sitting not even working immediately asked if we were vaxxed. She was rude and I’m completely at a loss. I hope this reaches as many people as possible and I promise you you’d be very disappointed to go there it was not okay it’s discriminatory and it’s wrong on every level..shame on her.
