Another amazing meal at Essence Kitchen and Bar. We tend to drive past this place since we live just down the road from it but last night we decided to celebrate a special night there and I am so glad we did. The food here is some of the best…. if not THE Best in the Quad Cities. The Sea Bass and the Steelhead trout was Outstanding!! The Service was Absolutely perfect and we really love the atmosphere, it’s just the right size, cozy and private tables, and everyone was so friendly. Fine Dining in Chino Valley…….

This restaurant is amazing. Immediately you feel like your part of the family. The ambiance is tranquil and warm. What struck me as odd is I saw no salt or pepper on the table once you get your food you know why. The food is amazing. The small plates ( appetizers ) were delicious. The filet mignon melted in your mouth. The trout tasted like it was caught in a clean lake then to your plate. The veggies and sides match each dish perfectly. This is an elevated dining experience. The staff is attentive, polite, and welcoming. I can’t say enough good things this was amazing. We went for our 4 birthdays and wedding anniversary. They brought us a surprise at the end of our meal. The whole experience was fantastic.

Drove to Chino from Havasu to look at a car. Picked this place with 5stars and it was worth it! Very nice place with such welcoming staff! Looks pricey but the prices were great! My husband doesn’t drink and they had an amazing non alcoholic menu that was huge! The food was fantastic! We will be back next time we come to town.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Was here for a birthday, and the food was phenomenal. Almost as amazing as the service, seriously, they must have high standards for staff because they were all phenomenal. This is a hidden gem worth driving from Prescott. I had the banana wrapped seabass, just wow! I also loved the bacon wrapped dates for an app.

This is the ONLY place worth eating at in Chino Valley. We moved up from Phoenix and have lived all over. This is the type of food we’ve been used to, and the fact it’s in Chino is amazing. It by and far belongs in Prescott, and they’d be 4x the size in Scottsdale. Appetizer, meal, desert, drinks… all were PERFECT. Service is that of a high end restaurant. Our drinks never got below half, infused water, constant supply of staff. Why it took us over a year to try this place is absurd, but we’ll be back so often. We’ve missed eating this well since moving up to the area.

Sign says open Google says open they are not open may be out of business who knows. If not, they should update so people don’t drive here to eat and find nobody home. It is extremely easy to notify Google of temporary hours or being closed so people that see your Google listing do not come when you are closed. It is also very easy to cover your signs on the doors so someone doesn’t have to get out and come and try to see to find a little tiny sign on the front, that says you are closed.

Excellent dining experience and a very well-rounded menu. I enjoyed the meal from start to finish. The soup and salad were very tasty and fresh. The main courses did not disappoint and were made perfectly. The server was on point and on top of everything. There was no problems and I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend you check this place out if you get the chance. It’s delicious! It’s not cheap but well worth the price and very good.
