Had the absolute best time and best experience (and we went with our two littles!) the staff is incredible the food is excellent! So happy to know there is a place closer to our home (we’ve been going to Desta in ATL and this is now our favorite Ethiopian restaurant!!) also huge shout out to D who took care of us and he is such a gem!!! Turned on some cartoons for the kiddos but they were more interested in the music and the drums but such a sweet and considerate move! Thank you so so much we’ll definitely be back!!!! Also all good toddler and baby approved!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!

I finally decided to have Ethiopian food again ,not a big fan because I find their stews and some meat dishes to be greasy and heavy. ( only reason I didn’t give five stars).

Went for lunch this afternoon with co-workers. Restaurant is neat, tucked away at the back of a strip mall, somewhat hard to find. Had the chicken tibs – came with injera bread and a side for which I chose the cabbage dish. While the tibs had fresh tomato, onions and chilies and was spiced well, the side dish seemed somewhat stale and lacklustre. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. Price seems fair but portion was just enough for lunch. Plenty of parking.

I want to support local businesses and I was very happy that I went here. The food was exceptional. I am not a big fan of Injera (Ethiopian traditional bread) but this was perfect. The sourness was subtle and it was fluffy. We got the Vegetarian Plate (5/5), perfect for 2 people-every dish was unique in its own way. The staff and the manager were friendly and amazing. I would highly recommend this place and I would go again. The ambience and the the decor was wonderful.

This was my first Ethiopian dining experience and it was wonderful. The dishes we ordered were based on the server’s recommendations. We had Sambussa for appetizers (lamb and lentils), I preferred the lentils as it was much more flavorful and the ginger really shined, fish tibs for an entree and tibs fir fir. I loved eating with the injera and can’t really compare it to another cuisine but the closest might be Indian with naan. The tibs entree was great but did not really need the injera on the side as it had it baked in. The food was so flavorful and the ambiance quaint. The staff was warm and welcoming and I look forward to dining here again and trying more dishes!

To be honest, I have never tried any kind of kitchen from Eastern Africa. So, when my erythrean colleague proposed this place tò me, I was very curious.

Met my husband there a couple weeks ago for our anniversary. My husband arrived first with flowers for me. He asked them to store the flowers at the bar, and they kindly agreed to do so. Service was wonderful and the food, including the Ethiopiques Special was delicious. At the end of the meal my husband walked to the bar to get my flowers and surprisingly they had found a vase, which the gave us, so nice! Definitely highly recommend Ethiopiques.
