My husband and I have dined here several times. The food is always delicious and the service is great. It’s a small restaurant, so be prepared to be close. I enjoyed the seafood risotto and my husband had the mushroom ravioli. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with a bottle of Montepulciano. Only negative I had is they did not have any Gelato…they usually have great Gelato! Etna is one of my favorite places in Little Italy . 5 star experience for me.

I walked in without a reservation on a Saturday evening and they had no problem finding me a seat at the bar. I’m so glad they did! I had a wonderful meal with one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Just one of those little neighborhood spots that can’t be beat!

Pepe is like the older brother you always wanted and never had. I know his younger brother he is a restauranteur in Geneva. Both are phenomenal but this review is for Etna. I can’t praised this place enough. From its chic decor to the service to the plating to the phenomenal experience of enjoying the meal. Everything is well thought out the service staff is…… I have no words to describe how they are. And I won’t use a superlative I’ll let you use your imagination. I could come here for the rest of my life and experience, a different culinary journey every single time. You should treat yourself as I have done. And as I will do as long as I live here.

Such excellent food in such a great space. We love Little Italy. Small but mighty! Wonderful dinners with good service!

This is a below average restaurant that claims to serve authentic Italian dishes. The pasta tastes like it came out of a can of tomato sauce. There was nothing special about this restaurant & ingredients not imported from Italy. Customer service is also non-existent & staffs look like they dislike their job. You’ll be bumping elbows with other diners due to the size of this establishment.

The best Italian restaurant in Little Italy. The interior is warmly lit and intimate. Pasta was steaming hot and cooked al dente, with a robust red sauce. Chicken was perfectly tender and delicious. Be sure to make reservations!

Small trattoria with excellent food but not nearly enough staff. The people working when my four were there were WORKING. It appeared they were without a bartender that night. We had reservations for 8:00 but we still didn’t eat until near 9:30. The antipasti was well crafted as were the pastas. On the other hand, the swordfish was of an odd consistency. I eat a lot of fish and this filet was not like any swordfish I have seen or eaten. I ate it though. While the food was slow to come out, a diligent busser was generous with bread before our starters could be had. The server was super busy with outdoor seating but she was competent, polite, and unflappable. I recommend this place for sure. Try mid week. I bet it’s 5 stars across the board on a Wednesday, if you pass on the swordfish.

Disappointed with our meal. The buffalo mozzarella appetizer was not tasty at all. Worst I have had. The mussels in the risotto dish had a very strong fishy taste and odor.

Food was average had veal and mussels as appetizer. Service was not good. Server didn’t offer Parmesan when other tables got served. Girlfriend asked for anchovies to be removed and ended up with fishy tomotoe sauce
