In my Opinion
I recently visited Etta Scottsdale and I must say, the food was absolutely amazing. The appetizers we had – focaccia and ricotta pillows – were simply delicious. For the main course, I ordered steak while my friends ordered chicken and both dishes were cooked to perfection. However, the real showstopper of the night was the asparagus – they were incredibly delicious that I wish I had taken some home.

This place has been on my list ever since it has opened and finally got a chance to visit. First of all loved the ambience very spacious and beautiful.. I ordered acocado toast, margherita pizza, crispy chicken sandwich and scramble egg .. Undoubtably the best avocado toast I ever had , Burrata made all the difference I believe.. I would definitely come back to try their some other specialities and desserts for sure..I would highly recommend this place if you’re planning for brunch in north Scottsdale area

Food tasted amazing! Everything we ordered was great, and the decor was on point. Our server was pretty stand offish and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. The other tables around us were having a great time with their servers but he wasn’t really interacting with us. Maybe he was just having a bad day but I would come back for the food!

We loved everything about Etta. The space is massive and varied for different dining experiences. We ate in the bar area. Our service at the bar and table was friendly and quick. We loved the pizza and salad. Plenty to share. Good wine list too.

Recently visited this location with a party of 9. We were seated quickly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Server was friendly and the bread is fantastic. Unfortunately, the good experience didn’t last for long. One of our party had a simple dietary request to substitute vegetables instead of french fries with his steak (yes, they serve steak with fries… fancy). He was told it would be extra which was expected. However, this is where it got very interesting. The server returned a few moments later to advise that the chef refused to deviate from his precious steak/fries combo. We all wondered if there was a hidden camera somewhere anxiously waiting to capture our reaction. Alas, he was serious so the steak came out with a large portion of fries but no veggies in sight. When we inquired about the veggies we were informed that the kitchen uses a “free-form” style of preparation so items come out when they come out. Good thing they don’t do any surgeries at this place! The veggies ultimately made their appearance after an additional 15 or so minutes. My wife and I both had pasta dishes but the small portions made us both sad. Lastly, they refused to split the check which would have been nice to know before we started the meal. In short, this place has too many rules (don’t even try the customer is always right routine) and how snooty can a place be when the coveted side dish is french fries?!?!? There are much better places out there that actually appreciate their customers.

Etta was amazing!! We went a friend’s birthday during happy hour and we stayed much longer. Etta at Scottsdale Quarter offers a delightful culinary experience. The Coffee Tini is a smooth blend of rich flavors. The Mezcal Bad Hombre is a fiery delight. The American Wagyu Meatballs are tender and savory. And the Pepperoni Pizza is a perfect balance with a crispy crust. A must-visit for all food enthusiasts!

Mediocre. I was so sad to dislike this place. I really wanted to like it. But the only thing going for it was the ambiance. Service was sub par. Had to wait a long time for drink refills, our bill, even to order. We went there for brunch and ordered the biscuit. And it had a hair in it (they did comp it). But it’s not the nicest way to start a meal. As a place that serves brunch, I would expect that they have some kind of specialty coffee, but they only has black coffee. I was going to order their version of an espresso martini, but it was “frosted” (not iced and not cold. Frosted) which did not sound appetizing at all. I ordered the breakfast sandwich that came with a side of potatoes and mixed greens. The salad was warm and wilted. The potatoes were good but WAY too spicy I couldn’t finish them. The sausage patty was also so spicy I couldn’t finish it. The sandwich also was listed to have cheddar cheese on it, but pretty sure it was American. I really had high hopes for this place. But it fell flat.
