I had the pleasure of dining at Eureka, an American restaurant located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, and it was an absolute treat! The burger I ordered was fantastic, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The decision to replace the fries with spicy ginger fried beans was a brilliant one, as it added a unique twist to the meal.

Super casual but very good dining spot in downtown Mountain View. Lots of great beers on tap and on rotation. They have a pretty standard menu of standard American fares. Highly recommend the cheese truffle fries. The fried chicken sandwich and the Napa sandwich are really good! Also absolutely not a bad idea to end the high carb session with the bourbon barrel cake.

Food was delicious. Service was super slow and we didn’t get checked on. After 40 minutes of not seeing her, our server came by and was just going to leave the check. No questions about our food or whether or not we needed anything more. The server who brought our food was friendly. It was fun to see a wine I haven’t seen at any other before, so extra points there.

Eureka on Castro Street corner is an amazing place for American cuisine and drinks. I have been a regular here for quite some time now and every time I visit, I am impressed by the quality of food, service, and ambiance. The menu is full of classic American dishes with a modern twist, which makes it an enjoyable dining experience. I love the burgers, sandwiches and salads, and the portions are generous. The bar is well-stocked, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and make great cocktails. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone who loves American cuisine and good drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Crowded place at peak times with 1/2 hr wait. Food is good but takes a long time to arrive. One time about a year ago. they seemed to have forgotten about our order and we had to find another server. This time service was good. Drinks were strong.

After having a fantastic experience at Eurika! Mountain View, we decided to return once again. We ordered the French Dip and the 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow Burger. While the French Dip was good, the Bone Marrow Burger was exceptional. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare and incredibly juicy – just as consistent with our previous visit. I might be biased, but when it comes to satisfying a burger craving, I would go to Eurika!

My cousin picked this restaurant and it’s the first time I’ve been at this location. The other location I’ve been to was Cupertino and knew the food would not disappoint. There were 3 of us who arrived around early dinner. We shared the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I ordered the Ahi Poke Stack and the Penicillin cocktail. Althoigh the menu was a bit short, everything I tried were very good. The waiter and waitress we had were awesome. Yes, definitely try Eureka! if you haven’t already.

I cannot be rude and leave out the good things about this place because it’s a unique open late restaurant that is great for date night, but our burger happened to be cold and my girlfriend didn’t want the burger to be remade but the waiter insisted and when the manager came and asked if we wanted the burger my girlfriend said no and she said “but it’s already being made” and she was not the kindest so my girlfriend felt bad an just didn’t eat her burger. I love love love the bar tender but the manager just gave me a huge reason to not go back. If you do go just get some drinks, Vincent is the best.
