Ok, so this Restaurant is hidden but Lord if you find it you won’t be disappointed. My family had fried chicken and pork chops, macaroni and cheese, yams and green beans plus sweet potato pie. It was almost as good as mama’s or grandma’s! More importantly the service was good. The owner greeted us and even came to our table. Everybody was friendly. Definitely will eat here again if we can find it.

This restaurant has good food. The owners is very friendly along with employees. I’ve good experience when I ho there. I also would recommend others to go and have. My coworkers love it as well. The place looks like a triple wide trailer. When we walked in it was crowded- a good sign. Tables we filled, the line was long. Amazingly, the line moves quick. The menu is “home cooked food” with plenty of love in it. They’ve created a great thing- keep it going.

We could barely get a parking spot. The best fried chicken, Mac and cheese, green beans. The place was packed, about 15 police officers were there eating. So it’s a safe place.

Great home cooked food. Pick your own meat and 2 vegetables or have a bacon cheese burger with freshly cooked bacon. Gotta know where to find them because they are located off the beaten path but if you happen to be in Clayton, AL and are looking for good food it is worth the search. The staff and owner are always nice and accommodating. Different plate daily off the hot line or you can order from the menu. They even have chittlins on Fridays if that’s your thing. Most people have never heard of or been to Eva’s kitchen but most locals know exactly where it is and will grab lunch here a couple times a week.
