Located in my hometown this little restaurant will absolutely have you had over heels! The Patty melts are to die for they have a special everyday! If you like good southern homestyle cooking then you have reached your destination. Be sure to stop in and show Ms Evelyn some love as her and her staff go well above and beyond to present to you an amazing meal for you and your family to enjoy!

Ok, let me just say that if you are EVER in bonneau beach, you must stop by Evelyn’s diner! I don’t know where to start. You immediately feel welcome when you walk in the door. The menu is laid out perfectly and by the sweetness of the workers, you knew you were in for a good meal! Extremely affordable prices for the mass amount of good you get, and it’s amazing food! Cant wait to come back!

I been to Bonneau Beach many times. Even had friends who lived up there and this was many first, a d hopefully not last eating at Evelyn’s Diner. I took a picture of my meal, but there was also a dessert! My daughter and me had a great meal for under $30. I plan on going back.

Well we are new to SC and saw that Evelyn’s had such a high rating… apparently they “saw us coming”… and now they saw us leaving for the last time. I ordered the fried catfish dinner which was marked $15.99 on the menu.. apparently their prices have changed but they haven’t updated the menu because they charged me $23.99 for the catfish dinner! I believe that is called fraud and a very good reason to avoid this place… like we will.

Great breakfast at Evelyn’s today. The eggs were extra fluffy and yummy. Servings were a decent size, not way too big as with some restaurants. At mid-morning (around 10:30) it was very busy with phone in and walk in orders, delivery trucks off-loading, etc.; and though short staffed today, the two there still managed to give great service. It was our first visit and we will definitely go back some time. Love to support local small businesses.
