Evergreen Salad is a healthier alternative to a health-conscious lifestyle. They offer Wraps or Bowls for building your salad. Variety of fresh vegetables from lima beans to fresh jalapenos Quinoa, brown rice, etc. I ordered the Sombrero style wrap with my additions included. Great choice of dressings for your food creations. The staff was friendly & professional. Evergreen Salad stayed busy as my fianceé dined inside to enjoy our meal. The dine-in area was fairly clean a few tables hadn’t been wiped down. They do offer free cups of water. The only thing I noticed was staff wasn’t washing their hands with each order they would just take off old gloves & put new ones on. Never seen anyone wash up before starting to make people’s food. I am usually put off completely when staff doesn’t follow through with washing hands. I didn’t notice at first. Except, when I sat down every customer that came in was a glove change no hand washing. I hope you realize from a customer standpoint how this appears to someone eating the food prepared by the very staff that doesn’t take the time to wash their hands before handling, touching food & food equipment. Also, I saw someone sweeping with gloves on? That is not food safety?

Again, I’m just another delivery driver. But again, I’m also working just as they are. So I don’t believe in any excuses for treating us (drivers) as if we’re not human. I don’t ask that they fake a smile with me or praise my entrance. But a simple “Hi, I’ll be with you in a moment”, would go a long ways. The silent treatment and staring @ at me antics, are getting old. You work customer service. Don’t stray away customers just cus you’re having a s….y day. Just because I didn’t order the food, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be treated just as paying customers are. At the end of they day, I’m your business partner. I help your business make money, buy delivering your products. Either treat me as a partner, or as a customer. Or maybe just treat me as a human being.

The customer service here is terrible. I even offered to speak to management prior to writing this review to understand what I was able to do differently as a customer to receive better service and I never received a call even though I knew that there was nothing I could do to fix what seems to be poor management, basic people skills and poor communication. They charge almost $20 bucks for a salad, which is amazing btw but they have no clue as to what please and thank you do for customers. Unfortunately, it’s the times we’re living in but when I asked to contact higher management to discuss the poor service which so many people in our city complain about with this place, the store manager looked at me as she saw a ghost and seemed like she had never heard feedback in her entire life. I then asked for the customer service information for corporate and the number that I was given was invalid which the manager stated was their customer service line. I wrote the email in the car as I ate my salad then decided to go back in and ask if the email was correct and requested the manager again and one of the employees went to the back to get her and she stated that she went home….which was ironic based on the face that I watched her walk back into the store as I drafted the email. I then went back to my car to search for a corporate number to contact and 5 minutes later the manager runs out of the store to her vehicle…….Strangest customer service I’ve EVER experienced to say the least!! So…..If you want a salad and NOTHING more, put on a pair of headphones, walk in and try your luck. That seems as good as it’s going to get here!

Staff was completely disengaged and unwelcoming as other reviewers have mentioned. There were no other customers and when walking in the girl at the counter immediately went to the back area leaving my wife and I alone at the counter for a minute. There was no welcome greeting at all and we got the feeling that our mere presence was annoying. No complaints about the food and would try again at a different location as the girl helping us was wearing a Manager shirt and attitude often comes from the top down. I would recommend the company look into these reviews and retrain management and/or staff as needed.

I’ve been to other locations that were much more pleasant and accommodating than this location. Only allowing the removal of allergens but not the addition of something to take its place — especially when it’s an item I know at the grocery store is a comparable price — is pathetic. Now I know it’s about the $ and not me enjoying my lunch; and I’ll skip this location in the future!

I am writing to share a recent experience at Evergreens, Bellevue that left me profoundly disappointed and deeply saddened. This has been my favorite restaurant for years, a place I’ve visited consistently 3-4 times a week, always enjoying a salad that cost north of $20. The customer service had always been impeccable until my recent encounter.

Order was incorrect. There were no greens in two of my salad bowls that I ordered whereas the Evergreens in Seattle delivers order correctly. The quantity of all ingredients was also less. Please make orders consistent across the different evergreens location. Will not recommend this place if orders are incorrect and misses ingredients. Not willing to pay $13 for my salads if they’re not worth it.

I have never in my life enjoyed salads as much as I have here. The next comparable best salad is the Pablo Picasso salad at oregano’s. But those aren’t available in the state of Washington or to my knowledge anywhere other than Arizona. The downtown locations cut your salad up greatly, they also make the salad up as well. I think the mixing is a great service that they provide. It’s probably under appreciated, because many many places don’t do it. For example, I always wish they would mix your food at chipotle.
