Highly recommend! Great food. Good portions that are reasonably priced. Great for a quick in and out lunch or diner.(no seating) But get there early because first time we tried to go they were already sold out! Got the pepper steak and brown stew chicken both were perfectly fall apart tender and full of flavor.

This place should be called “Everything is Trash” just because they give a lot of food doesn’t make it good. Jerk chicken should be more like burnt chicken with little to no flavor and for the love of GOD please learn how to cook plantain. If you order from GrubHub forget about it they slop your plate together and you stand a good chance to get under cooked chicken it’s just all trash. Someone compared this trash to L J’s that is just disrespectful they are in no comparison I advise you don’t EVER go to this slop house for food you will be highly disappointed.

So I googled local Jamaica restaurants and I’m in love. This tiny shop which is blazing hot in the winter delivers top notch authentic taste. This cash only shop delivers tantalizing, fall off the bone oxtail with Shelly rice and peas. I am excited to go back and try more food. They have an atm inside. Def check them out.

I’m a pilot visiting from Utah and this place was great. The lady running the restaurant was super kind and helpful when I asked her what she would recommend. I ended up getting some plantains and a beef patty. (She threw in a dumpling as well). Incredible food for a great price! Cash only! I hope to come back to Rochester soon!

The wait wasn’t that Long. The Food Is Awesome and I personally Recommend the Jerk Chicken. The prices are Definitely reasonable and they have a Awesome Lunch time combo and if you pair it with their beef patty’s made with Coco Bread!! Trust Me it’s A Good Deal for about $10. Please give it a try on if your in downtown Rochester and need a quick Delicious Meal.

Jerk chicken not fully cooked..was rudely told jerk chicken can’t b raw….after calling to complain..skin was like rubber red n middle…it must’ve been undercooked since he said it can’t b raw….and paid for Mac n cheese that wasn’t delivered…cabbage was tasty I think! only a spoonful delivered….don’t even want the money back…keep it all….have a blessed day.
