Went here on a whim with my boyfriend and we got the shredded beef with chives and steamed bun and we were extremely disappointed. The food tasted great but there was literally no meat in our dish and it’s a $26 meal. When I asked the waiter about it he didn’t say much and the other waiter (older lady) said that the vegetable and buns were expensive. They also only gave us 5 small buns for soo much vegetable. It’s just unfortunate. We really wanted to like it but they didn’t do anything to address our complaint.

I went to the restaurant before the pandemic. The food and service were both good at that time. Today just visited it again and they changed a lot. Food was not ok. We ordered fried pork price is $28 which was mainly onion with tiny small amount of fork can even be seen as seasoning. The service was terrible. None of their staffs smiled at you when we were except the nice Mexican fellow. They were inpatient when you ask simple question neither asked what you needed during the entire meal. They could be called rude compared to regular restaurants. When we needed fork or napkins, we had to go to the front counter to serve ourselves. Will never go there again.

I can’t even begin to comprehend how this place has ANY 5-star reviews. After, increasingly unwillingly, three visits, I am convinced that anyone with a generally positive opinion of this establishment was either paid or coerced to submit their review. The food is at best mediocre (jjampong) and at worst the sludge on the decrepit wall of a sewer (jjajangmyun). As a native Korean, I know how these dishes should taste, and I know that this restaurant has gotten them all wrong. The waiters, as countless other reviewers say, are perhaps the most abominable feature. Do not expect them to have a sliver of enjoyment for their work. In pitiful shows of effort, they tend to *drop* dishes and bowls of steaming stew onto the wobbly 20-year-old tables, and like to pretend they haven’t heard your requests. If you are looking for not even adequate food but simply a tolerable dining experience, this is the wrong place to go to.
