This mom and pop cafe is a gem! If you are traveling through, stop in and don’t waste your time in Trinidad. Food was excellent, friendly staff and clean bathroom. I had chili cheese fries which were fresh cut fries with homemade green chili on top. Husband had pulled pork avocado burrito and it was smothered with green chili. Will stop again if we are traveling this route again.

Absolutely delicious! We stopped for a late lunch and it was so good we came back the next day for breakfast. The service was excellent.

Traveling to Denver on I-25 and found this diamond in the rough. The exterior appearance is deceptive as we walked into a welcoming crew and a great lunch. Clean restaurant and friendly service. Had the pulled pork sandwich and Cheeseburger with fries. Owner seemed engaged of improving the business with allowing EV charging at the campground. Didn’t have the breakfast but served all day and I am sure it is as good as the lunch. Will stop again in the future.

Real western atmosphere + epic western scenery. This is not the place you want to pass by. Everything is homemade and fresh to order. From sweet tea to green chili, they serve staple Colorado food in a conveniently located eatery, in between Trinidad and Walsenburg.

Stopped by on the way to Colorado Springs and had a pulled pork sandwich and homemade fries. Delicious!! The desserts were scrumptious too.

A perfect little hole in the wall. Serving breakfast all day, including amazing (and cheap) pancakes and New Mexico style green chili for the huevos.
