I understand why this dive is rated so high, I saw the community it’s located in. This is probably considered 5 star dining to them. The food is highly overpriced, no flavor, just bbq sauce dumped on chicken. The business is connected to a dump truck lot so you can only imagine all the filth that blows through this place. This place is such a dive that they wouldn’t let me trade a breast chicken for a leg, they are truly “SPECIAL “ helmets for the whole place.

Conveniently located on the way home for many, Expressway has a great menu if it’s just yourself, a couple looking to dine out and/or they even do catering/party trays. Are you kidding me? Why haven’t I heard of this place before?? Two fantastic sloppy joes for $6 and 16 ounce chili (90% meat) for $5.99. And the food is better than the prices! Can’t wait to try the ribs pit beef and chicken.

Our first time here and have nothing to complain about. Wife and brother in-law were very happy with their pit beef sandwiches, fries, and fried mushrooms. Prices are very reasonable. If I were to find one point to critique, it would be the outside (only) seating. We were there on a beautiful, low humidity day so we would have chosen to sit outside anyway. But, on hot humid or cold days, you might choose to take your meal home.

Excellent pit beef, pit turkey, fish (cod in a light batter), shakes, snowcones and so much more. I like the food and love the service. Everyone is enthusiastic, helpful and friendly, despite the fact that it’s gotta be very hot in that kitchen/service area. Really enjoying this new (to me) find!

Pit Beef sandwich is really good. Overall quantity is equivalent to the price, you won’t be disappointed. Chicken was a bit dry and the ribs were average. Corn nuggets are awesome. We’ve gotten them several times and have never been super happy about them. The staff are super friendly and work quickly.

They have snowballs, which at times can be hard to find anywhere else close by. (As soon as spring hits my kids start asking for them.) We have ordered the ribs, pork bbq, fries, sweet potato fries, cheeseburger – which can be made to your liking. Good food at decent prices. This is not an indoor restaurant however there is seating outside w/ umbrellas for shade. Also, can order takeout.

April and Jason are so sweet. I hired then to cater s client Appreciation event. The food was phenomenal.
