Pleasantly surprised! I was skeptical about the food being flavorful but it actually was. It was as flavorful as home cooked meals but for sure more than frozen meals. All the recipes I tried were tasty. I actually love their Gouda Cauliflower “grits”. It’s so good I’m going to make it myself. My first box was $98 for 20 meals which was a steal. However, if I would have continued my subscription I would have been paying $207 per box of 18 meals. $800+ per month on meals is insane and that doesn’t cover breakfast and/or snacks. My box was packaged beautifully and I have no complaints with that. I did run into an issue, which customer service promptly answered the phone and refunded a portion of my money back to my card. WARNING: the food is insanely high in Saturated fat, Sodium, and Cholesterol. If you are ok with this and the price, I say go for it.

This is a conflicting review bc I’m torn but need to put out there the serious issues. First the good-very tasty meals, great variety, timely delivery, easy to use app & good customer service. The bad…VERY bad-almost every delivery I get there is at least one unsealed meal that I have to throw out. It’s happened SIX times now. So quality control and health safety is of major concern. They always refund me but I’m out the meal(s) I counted on & most importantly I could have gotten sick if I didn’t check the seal closely!! So check your meals! I’m hanging on by a thread with Factor.

I do not recommend this company. Firstly, they asked for my credit card information up front, before I could see the meal options. Then when I looked through the meals and decided the service wasn’t for me as there weren’t enough vegetarian options that I found appealing, an initial order had already been placed and could not be cancelled 10 minutes later! I received the meals on time the following week. The portion sizes were adequate for me but would not be for someone with a medium to large appetite. As far as taste, the meals were mediocre at best. Heavy on spices like pepper and low on actual flavour. I found them comparable to a frozen dinner, not a fresh one. Definitely not worth the price for vegetarian meals. I will not reorder.

*update* they finally delivered the meals. There was no updates or notice so not sure how long the box was outside. Upon looking at the meals I noticed some mold on the shredded cheese included in some of the meals! Gross….I’m not going to eat any of this as I can’t trust it is fresh. It takes a long time for shredded cheese to go bad.

This company set me up in my opinion. I placed an order for first delivery and then canceled it the same day in plenty of time before they were supposed to ship the order. I received a confirmation I had canceled my account. THEY SHIPPED THE MEALS AND CHARGED ME EVEN THOUGH I HAD CANCELLED. The company told me that I had to cancel my account and then place another phone call to cancel the box of meals! What???? So this is what they do. They accept your order, collect the money for shipment, and when you call the company even though you have canceled your order, they send the first shipment, charge you, and refuse to refund the money for meals sent that you thought you never ordered. I contacted my credit card company and they are disputing the charge for me. In my opinion, be careful the same thing does not happen to you.

My husband and I were very happy with factor 2 years ago. Their meals were good, price is reasonable, and customer service was great. We decided to take a break from it after we started noticing the quality of the food was deteriorating. We couldnt have steak anymore because it was full of ligaments and chicken felt cold and hard. Didn’t taste fresh. A few months later, I get a voucher in the mail with discount codes to use to encourage me to return to factor. My husband and I took the bait but realized that the codes weren’t working. I talked to customer service twice in painful conversations and they reassured that the codes were correct and did not help me out. I canceled my subscription with confirmed cancellation on the app. I get an email a few days later that they processed my order despite a canceled account. I called customer service; they were rude. Told me I should have known that I had to cancel both account and order, although that was not mentioned anywhere on the app. She then stopped responding to me when I was explaining my concerns.
