Fado is a Portuguese restaurant serving authentic cuisine at its very best. Simple but elegant food is perfectly complemented by the restaurants Azulejo décor which is a characteristic element of Portuguese culture. We serve fresh fish and seafood alongside a vast selection of Bacalhau (salted cod) and meat dishes. Our Adega (wine cellar) offers a selection of some of the best Portuguese wines. Have you ever been you a restaurant and instantly transported to another country? This is that kinda of place! My journey started with the ambiance inside of the restaurant, it just lovely, with touches of old world decor on top of a very modern finish. The appetizer i had truly was not of this country or culture, it was simply magnificent. The rest of the food cooked to perfection and executed with precision. The waiter we had was super friendly and very accommodating. Will be going back for a dinner service soon!

Every single detail food, service, atmosphere was outstanding. If I could leave 10 stars I would. I have worked in the service and high end restaurants industry for over 12 years this place is very special and exceeded all expectations. This is a must visit.

We have been here a couple of times now and it great to see the same great quality remains year after year. All the dishes were fresh and delicious. Good wine selection but what really stands out is the amazing service. It’s so refreshing to see people who are excited about their restaurant, have great knowledge about the wine and food and are happy to help. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you are looking to try something different.

Came here for dinner with a friend. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was great as well. We started with the salted codfish fritters, super good. For dinner, I had the grilled salmon which was cooked to perfection but my friend had the bacalhau com natas and oh my god, it was insanely tasty. Highly recommend making a reservation as they were packed by the time we left around 8:30. Definitely a place of check out!

For starters, I’ll talk about the service, simply wonderful, it’s that friendliness and good Portuguese energy that makes you feel happy to be there. The wines are great, as for the food, my husband loves Portuguese cuisine and he praised it a lot and said he wants to come back to try other dishes, I being a vegetarian I was promptly served with a special dish, I wish they had more options for vegetarians. Feel in Portugal at Faro restaurant!!!!

What a shame, this place can’t be call a Portugues Restaurant. From sangria to desert. Nothing tasted good, I have been in many portugues restaurant but this was unorganized. Sangria was far way to be a sangria, the calamari was frozen not fresh, the food didn’t taste good. We don’t mind to pay for a good food but to pay so much money for such a bad experience was very sad. The food didn’t have a good presentation. Please if you thinking about going to Fado don’t waist your money.

Pretty good food particularly the dishes with octopus (if you’re into that). Great customer service. Beware of ordering the sangria as it will bring some unwanted guests to your table (fruit flies). I found one in my cup also enjoying the sangria

The food was absolutely exquisite! This is Portuguese cuisine at it’s best! If you like octopus, you will completely fall in love with their take on it. Juicy and cooked to perfection with spices that compliment the delicate dish. The Pasteis De Belem is a dessert worthy of 5 stars alone- do not miss out on this egg custard tart!

We had an absolute amazing night! Octopus was our main dish and we just loved it! The atmosphere and the service was very personable and we got some interesting insight information about Portugal since our waiter knew a lot about the history of his country and loved to share this with us! Overall a perfect night out!
