I’ve been eating here for close to 20 years and it’s a shame that it’s now dead to me. Ever since they changed ownership they couldn’t care less if you order pizza or subs. The quality of the pizza is awful, just a giant pile of cheese in the middle and no care to how it’s handled out of the oven. The last time I was in the restaurant they didn’t have all the meats to make a Fairfax Deli Sub, their name sake. After that I was almost done, but tonight really wanted a steak and cheese and their Midas Touch is one of the best steak and cheese around. I called at 7:40 and was told they were closed, it’s Saturday night and they’re open until 9. The old owner was amazing and ran a fantastic sun shop, it will be missed.

Definitly order their amazingly delicious Classic Italian sub first. Then their Philly cheese steak. Then try their spaghetti with meatballs. While there, look over their many tasty Bolivian dishes and don’t be shy to try all of them. During this cool weather venture into their large selection of very tasty Bolivian soups. It is a delicious discovery. Plus they offer delicious large pickles for $2 a pickle and they are outstanding when you Dice them up and put them on a tuna fish sandwich when you bring them back home

It’s a shame that ownership changed!! Their times online for opening and closing aren’t true either; they are now opening at 11-10 Mon-Sat and 10-9 for Sunday. I showed up today at 10:30 and they were closed; I had to scour the internet to find their new times. That was a major disappointment for me; Im a pregnant lady who was craving their steak and cheese at 930pm on a Sunday night and was looking forward to having one today for breakfast, happened later than I expected though. Eventually, they opened the doors at 11:20 which was not the best look for them.

I used to love this place. It had the best pizza in all of Falls Church. Sadly that has changed. I’ve given it a few more tries but the last 4-5 times have been disappointing to say the least. The cheese is dumped in a giant glob on top of the crust, upon what seems to be no sauce. When you try to pull a piece from the box, the cheese slides off as it is melded together in said blob at the center. The pieces are cut to ridiculously different sizes to the point it has to be described only as comical. As you can see from the pictures, it doesn’t seem like they pay attention to what they are doing or what they are putting in the box. I will mourn what used to be the greatest Falls Church pizza as it is, to me, dead.

The best fries I’ve ever had! My gyro was busting at the seams with meat. Highly recommend!

Mediocre sub, they were out of most of the ingredients, and the price on the menu board different drastically than the price they charged. Quality of the service is lackluster, and the sub was mostly filled with mayo and hardly any meat. Definitely will not return, and don’t suggest anyone go there either

I came across this spot back in 2008 when I worked for koons ford/dodge of falls church. All the mechanics would frequently go here for their lunch breaks. They would always get the steak and cheese sandwiches and I got hooked onto this place after trying it the first time. Every since then I’ve gone here many times and is always satisfied with their food and service. I would go so much the guy behind the counter would already know what I wanted before I could even speak. The things I like about the place besides the food, considering I grew up in falls church is that I believe it’s been in business since the 70s so it’s nice to still see businesses like that in the area. Its a hole in the wall spot which I dont mind. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be difficult at times but the times I’ve visited, I never had an issue. I was looking up another treasure of falls church on google (frozen dairy bar&boardwalk pizza) which unfortunately is not around. I use to go there for the milkshakes. Fairfax deli was recommended and I almost forgot about this place, so I had to leave a review. According to google I haven’t been to Fairfax deli in 7 years. When I’m in town I will definitely stop by there again and I recommend this place to anyone. Start off with their steak and cheese and you’ll be hooked like I was.
