We stopped here during a Sunday drive for breakfast. There is no hostess so you seat yourself. We got pretty quick service for a Sunday morning. Our waitress wasn’t very personable in suggesting items for newcomers so we were in our own for choosing. My fiancé went with the strawberry cheesecake stuffed French toast. He was bummed when it came out because the flavor was almost plastic tasting. I tried and it was horrible. We ended up leaving it almost untouched. The loaded home fries were interesting. They had a nacho cheese sauce on them with bacon and other toppings. Something we ate but probably wouldn’t get again. My eggs and sausage were very good. However my French toast also were thin and had an odd taste to them almost like plastic. I would come back for breakfast if I am sticking to the basic food groups. Wish our server was more knowledgeable of the menu we probably would have had a more positive experience.

My husband & I just picked up our “to go” order, we live 15 min away. We’ve always enjoyed the food here for 10 yrs, however we are extremely disappointed. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, this is how I received my chocolate cream pie & my husband received his strawberry shortcake, yes..that’s strawberry shortcake . The other pictures are supposed to be “Garlic Bread”, nothing more than half of a hotdog bun that obviously has been smashed, the “garden salad” was wilted from being packed into a bag with all the other hot foods! We are extremely disappointed. Unfortunately I wasn’t given the option to rate 0 stars so I had to pick 1 star!

First time going there. I went with my soon who tends to be very picky because he works in a restaurant and compares everything to them. He had a Cesar wrap/fries and I had a Ruben with onion rings. Staff was kind and seemed like they wanted to be at work. They wanted to help me out and treated me well. Thank you for that!! Good service with a smile is becoming more rare. If Fall’s Diner remains welcoming, I’ll keep coming back. Food portion was good for the price. Irish stew with rye was good.
