Took a road trip 8-19-23 from mid Missouri ended up in Iowa just for kicks and found this place… It was pretty good hot fresh and way better than the last Asian Buffett we had in Springfield Missouri… This was the 1st time I had ever been to Iowa and was pleasantly surprised with the people as well as the state itself… The people were really friendly and the the state as a whole so I recommend taking a trip to Iowa if you get the chance…

My son and I were there for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant was busy, but not crowded. We were seated and received our beverages promptly. All of the food choices were full and appropriately hot/cold. Lots of variety. Everything I selected was tasty, especially the walnut chicken and the spicy tuna sushi. The restaurant looks worn down in places and has that “damp” smell (probably the AC), but was very clean. Overall, it was a pleasant meal.

Service was horrible. Guy cashing us out yelled at us for asking questions. $3 for a drink and never offered a refill. Food was old and dried out. We won’t go back.

Food wasn’t the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but there were plenty of options. Service was just OK. Little disappointed that there weren’t napkin dispensers on the table as most Chinese buffets I’ve been to. The floors are dangerous in spots and can use some work. And the ice cream dispenser is within the service station which is confusing if you’re suppose to be back there using it. The only choice is vanilla and the only topping is chocolate syrup. Again, unlike most other Chinese buffets I’ve been to. Prices in my opinion were expensive. I’m use to paying around 6 bucks for a lunch buffet and maybe 9 for dinner at any other Chinese restaurants. 12 seemed a bit steep. To pay 60 bucks for a family of four at a Chinese buffet is kind of ridiculous.
