I’m so happy to stumble into this spot. Don’t let the outside fool you, this is the place for soul food. The ambiance is casual. Order and pay in front and your food is brought to your table. The chicken and waffles are made to perfection. The seafood was arranged to beautifully, I almost didn’t want to eat it. Everything that comes out of here is absolutely amazing. I will be back! Great place to eat w great prices! Tasty chicken and Mac. The chicken was juicy and big not dried out and skimpy. Food came quick about 5 min not even. Great vibe of the place, tv to watch with some good music playing. Want to go back to try other things on the menu! Check them out! It’s a must.

Drove from NJ.. all the way to PA just for Family Chicken & Waffles, lol.. & I must say IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE… Unfortunately, they don’t offer short stay lol because the food will definitely have you with the itis .. The gentleman who took the order is very professional & pleasant.. Note: When you get the Soul food dinner (double check, I might be wrong), it comes with all the sides, collards, Mac & yams.. I loved that.. Whoever made the cornbread.. my birthday in Feb.. U owe me a pan, lol.. #ILoveMyBlackOwnedBusinesses

Oh my goodness I don’t know where to start!!! Their food is absolutely DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL!!! They give you so much food. I ate off it for three days!!! However on their menu it didn’t say you would get the corn,potatoes and sausage so I ordered a side of mac and cheese and collard greens and it was delicious!!!! My food came out piping hot( which is how I prefer my food). The owner put my bib around my neck. Very gentleman-like( I ordered a colossal lobster tail dinner). The only down side thing I’ll say is that it closes at 5pm and it was a Thursday. That is usually when people start to come in. That is a start of high peak time and I think that is a slight negative impact for their business, however I will visit there again definitely.
