Luverne and everyone in the staff were so welcoming and friendly!!! It was like being at a family gathering! The food was amazing (breakfast platter) and you can certainly tell they use REAL ingredients and love what they do! I will certainly be back to try the lunch and that “famous fried chicken “!!

We fished Kerr Lake over the weekend and stopped for lunch going back through Oxford. I can’t remember the last time we enjoyed a meal out this much! Typically, since we cook at home a lot ourselves, we wonder if our money would have been better spent preparing it ourselves. Definitely couldn’t duplicate this yummy food! The chicken was fall off the bone tender and had amazing flavor. The stewed tomatoes were like a delicious cobbler! My Husband LOVES cabbage and actually made Mmmm noises while he savored on bite after the other. The navy beans were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had to grab a piece of chocolate pie to top it all off and hated sharing it (but Hubby did treat me to lunch so I just couldn’t say no). If we lived closer I would eat here every day. Guess it will be our special treat whenever we are on our way to or from fishing. Thanks for the experience!

was told brakfast was over. no problem will ordere from lunch menu. have me a menu and ordered a blt combo.. lady sighed and said .. like I said.. breakfast is over. I said its on the lunch dinner menu.. she said we only do that for breakfast. I said.. well Ill get a breakfast bowl.. at waffle house and left… sucks getting attitude at a family diner…
