Delicious! Gigantic portions (and they mean it). Great service. Super big and clean bathrooms. Loved this place. The people were great and so was the food. Omelette, French toast, pancakes, all of it was as it should be. So full and happily would go back.

Service was quick and decent, we sat outside due to bringing a pet which was appreciated. For portions, like everyone else mentioned, you will be needing boxes! Food came out fairly quick and we felt it was a decent value for what was paid. The menu was a bit odd in that it didn’t directly show prices unless you viewed a digital menu.

The food is delicious and the portion size per meal does not disappoint. They have outside seating with plenty of parking. Servers are super nice and all around a family friendly environment. Been going to family house for a long time and they never disappoint.

So we used to go to their National City location regularly, and prior to their permanent closing, we fell in love with their Jalapeño Chicken dish. Unfortunately, this dish isn’t available at their Chula Vista location. We have been anxiously awaiting their Lemon Grove opening to finally enjoy this delicious dish again. So our party of 3 came in from lunch, and were seated against the wall to the left. So who comes up to greet us? Brenda! Our server who used to serve us regularly at the National City location TWO years ago!!! Not only that, she remembered us because we used to order rice pilaf with our Jalapeño Chicken. All three of us ordered the same dish (one regular, one w/ light sauce, one w/ sauce on the side. All three of us ordered a salad (three different dressings: blue cheese, ranch, and 1000 island). Garlic toast accompanied the meals. Same great food, same outstanding service from Brenda! We’re happy FHOP had continued to offer this highly desired dish of ours. We can’t wait to come back next month! If you haven’t had their Jalapeño Chicken, I’ve attached photos to my review. It’s pretty delish! Note: if you can pay cash, you’ll save the 4% credit card fee added to your bill. Other than that, if you don’t like long waits to be seated, come on weekdays…

Rhiana Server and Lily where on point. Service was awesome!!! Lily made sure we had our coffee mugs filled and other drinks. Rhiana made sure we had salsa, sugar free syrup ect…The Food was Delicious, environment family style thats a plus ..we will be coming again ..so glad the open a second location.

Do not recommend the Triple B pancakes. It’s essentially a DIY situation where they just bring you a tiny cup of peanut butter and a banana sort of sliced. Then the pancakes are made with barely cooked bacon mixed in the batter. Really gross. I would highly encourage them to cook fully cook the bacon, then break it up and sprinkle it on top, cut the banana into smaller slices and sprinkle that on top, then drizzle the peanut butter on as well. Also, please put prices on your menu. Their saving graces are that the service is great and the staff are very friendly.

Delicous food.! Great customer service.! Love eating in this restaurant. Have been a customer since the previous location in National City. This new location has very tight seating arrangements. My chair was touching my neighbors which made enjoying my meal very uncomfortable. The bathroom didnt have a baby changing station and had to change my baby’s diaper on my lap. I figured they would have one since it is a family restaurant after all. Other than that love the food.!

The food was so DELICIOUS! I ordered a Omelet and French Toast and quality of food was amazing. I took my Mom who is really picky and now this is her favorite place to eat. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out really fast. Weekends there is a 30min wait time but it’s so worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
