Pickup order, Located in An Italian restaurant as a shared business, I think. Someone correct me if untrue. Let’s get to it. We ordered two family platters consisted of four meats. Chicken, St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket along with the fixings you see. Ribs were done nicely with crusty edges and tasty pork , seasoning with a hint of cayenne. Chicken cooked juicy and bbq y. The brisket was done on the okay side along with decent pulled pork. Overall 3 1/2 star meats. You gotta see the pics. $ 130…ish for 4 Yes, we pigged out excuse the pun. had decent leftovers .

Famous Daves Bar-B-Que? Not worth it. High prices and small portions. I went for lunch and I got the beef brisket sandwich it was 4 small slices of beef, 3 pickle slices and a bun for $20! Oh, and a small side of mashed potatoes. Too expencive. Its hard to find, inside Johnny Carinos, with no sign outside to let you know its there. Like some kind of google secrete. The servers inside were very friendly, although they tried to tell me they didnt have $0.60 change, and that was not ok with me. I told them I would accept a dollar, but they sonehow found the change. Stupid. Expencive. Sneaky. Dont waste your time.

Burger was cold, cheese was stale, like they made it hour ago and just gave it to me. Coleslaw was around the container I didn’t even open yet. Produce was old as you can see in the photo. For spending close to $20 without even getting a drink I feel as if I was robbed of my money.

The description of this place was Not Clear at all. It is for Famous Dave’s BBQ “To Go” ONLY. I was looking for an actual restaurant. It is being sold out of an Italian Restaurant called Johnny Carino’s. You can only order the “dinner for two” or other Dave’s food “To Go”.

Fair to middling. Got take out, received food fast, 4 ribs supposed to be naked, but had sauce. Ok, but seems old kinda dry. Wings were fine came naked, but no seasoning at all. Muffin is hard as a hockey puck. Stuff is eatable, but not repeatable.

Let me start by stating I love the food at Famous Daves. Their brisket is the best. But there’s no signage on the building that says Famous Dave’s. They’re sharing space with Johnny Carino’s. It would have been nice to know that before heading out to pick it up.

Got take out tonight with 6 different orders and all orders were exactly the way we ordered them. Quality of food was 5 out of 5. Very professional staff and management (Andy). They insured we had everything we needed and went over each item Once we got home the food was pipping hot and delicious. I would recommend famous Dave’s to anyone looking for bbq in the Modesto area. By the way I was a district manager in the restaurant business in the Seattle area. So I judge a little harder than most people

Very disappointed! Was excited to get a brisket sandwich. They gave it with no sauce on it or any sauce at all, extremely dry, not juicy at all, No hickory taste. Definitely did not taste the was they describe it on the menu. If I was to guess the meat was a day or so old. Most likely won’t be getting it again.
