This food was absolutely trash. I spent $70 and no one was satisfied with the food. The ribs were very dry flavorless, the brisket was tough as leather. And i don’t know my they call them burnt ends because they weren’t even close to one. The best part of the meal was the muffin first and last time. Thanks famous Dave’s for the horrible Friday night meal with the family….

I ordered burnt ends and got a a slice of meat cut up. It looked and tasted nothing like burnt ends. It was flavorless and dry. I immediately called the restaurant and was told by the manager that I would be issued a refund. Three days later no refund so i called back and was told it would take 3-5 business days to process. A week later still no refund. I was told the store manager who does the refunds was out and would be back tomorrow. Next day i called and waited 40 minutes for someone to answer the phone and then I was placed on hold for another 15! After that I was told that the manager could not speak with me but he would investigate the refund with the food delivery company???? It had nothing to do with doordash… they did their job just fine! They didn’t charge me for the nasty so called burnt ends, famous daves bbq did…

Ordered on door dash. The food is beyond over priced, and very poor quality. The brisket and pulled pork were literally nothing but chunks of fat. I didn’t even eat it. The beans smelt horrible. There was no cornbread, even though it states it comes with it? And my plastic utensils were opened and dirty. Never, ever again.

The burnt ends were barely okay some of which didn’t have any sauce on them, not sure how that happens with burnt ends. My burger was ok but was missing the bacon. The best thing were the fries(potato wedges). Over rated and over priced, my first and last time there.

Very pricey and nasty. I ordered the Feast for 2. I am giving them a one star because, the Texas beef brisket and beans were good other than everything else was nasty. I am from Peoria, IL. This is not the same Famous Dave’s recipe in Peoria, IL. The Famous Dave’s in Peoria is Fantastic. When you eat there you feel like you have had some good BBQ. The ribs did not taste like ribs, they did not have any meat on them and the little meat they did have were tuff. Also, the barbeque sauce, muffins and corn are not the same, they are suppose to be a little sweet. Even the famous fries were dry. I am so disappointed.

Not the best bbq I’ve had in Missouri.. The best place closed a few years ago. (We miss you, Branding Iron) Dave’s was expensive for the food. The pork was dry, the chicken was beyond dry. The cole slaw was even dry. Very little anything in it. Tasted like partly bad cabbage. No mayo, hope it wasn’t mayo based. Sure wasn’t vinegar based. The ribs were ok. Beans ok. Cornbread terribly dry and too sweet. Sorry southern girl.. No sugar in cornbread. But I’m ok with a little. It was more like a cake made with corn meal.

This place should be ashamed of themselves for calling what I just ate as “BBQ”..If I would have known that this stuff was gonna be this bad, I would have just ordered something from McDonald’s and been much happier for an 1/8th of the price. Brisket was like eating a rubber ball that someone cut in half…..Burnt ends tasted and looked like dog food. This is a sad excuse for a food establishment and definitely the worse place I have ever ate at in a loooooong time.

Not sure why this place is getting slammed. I love their wings, ribs, coleslaw, baked beans and cornbread. I’ve had them delivered a few times and appreciate their attention to detail. It always tastes like their food is made with love. Highly recommend.

They have no idea what they’re doing. This is not famous Dave’s it’s Granite city brewery with a kiosk that doesn’t know anything about the real famous Dave’s barbecue. One hour wait to get my order. Go elsewhere! Beware!
