Price was raised from $30-$40 on the feast for two. That’s a big jump in price. The corn muffins were dried out, the coleslaw had a slightly rotten taste and we had to throw it out, the chicken was so over cooked that there was absolutely no moisture. The brisket was tender but no smoke flavor and the only thing that was good were the ribs, beans and fries… although one rib was nothing but fat and another rib was just bone. I used to love famous Dave’s but we won’t be going back. Another thing is they gave us one packet of barbecue sauce and one wet wipe. You would think since it was a feast for two that we would’ve gotten at least two packets of barbecue sauce and two wet wipes. Needless to say it was a disappointment.

Ordered the three meat combo burnt ends, spare ribs, and chicken. Ribs and burnt ends were aweful. They tasted like they were made four or five days ago. The chicken was okay. But everything else tasted like it came out of the dumpster of terrible BBQ place and was repurposed as Famous Dave’s. I didn’t see the reviews before ordering so hopefully you will spare yourself from tasting garbage food.

Astoundingly terrible bbq…. I’ve been an advocate of FD’s as chain bbq, but this locations product is terrible. Tough, gristly “burnt ends”, sliced brisket was more fat than meat, ribs were decent but mealy and soft. Best thing in the order was the corn bread muffin. Will continue to recommend the KCK dine in location, but Granite City should be embarrassed to host this garbage.

Go to the Famous Dave’s in Kansas. This one is awful. We ordered 2 burgers with fries and one with Mac and Cheese. One of the burgers was still mooing, seriously it was RAW. The didn’t give us the Mac and Cheese. It was just gross.

If there was a rating of zero, I would give it, this location should not be a representation of Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que. The ribs were not the smoked taste that Famous Dave’s is known for. Trust and believe, I will travel to the Kansas state Famous Dave’s location. This location should stop the carryout.
