If I could give 10 stars I would!! Everything was so damn delicious. We had never tried the cracklins and we could not stop eating. This is the type of place that you’ll keep eating even when you’re full. Can’t wait to go back!

Customer service is always AMAZING! Tried the bbq pork steak plate lunch an it was pretty good. More on the baked side an covered with sauce. We also had to get another bag of soft a spicy cracklin which is always 10/10!!

I have been here several times. I have had the ribs, the chicken and the pork steaks and it was always great.. meat always tender and juicy and the pork steaks are huge, they give 3 pieces of ribs which are always good sizes. I will definitely continue eating there.

Nastiest bbq I have EVER tasted. She said I would get 3 ribs, and they gave me 2 1/2. Cold old ribs. I should have asked for my money back when the lady said they were making them hot. Smh…. And I’ve never seen potato salad like that. Look at how its standing up and the color. Gross. Beans straight out the can. Save your money. Go somewhere else. They should go to Texas and try Pappas or Triple Js in Houston, and learn how bbq should taste and look. I’m so disappointed.

Some of the best cracklins you will ever find! Hot and fresh! You can buy 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1lb bags. The only challenge is the wait time. Because this is well known, people from all over some and the lines can be long but worth the wait!!!!

Very sweet owners, very good food, love there crackling and boudain. There is some sweet potato pies that are to die for too. All there smoked meat is amazing! Best place in lake Charles for BBQ, and unique southern sides. Steam boat bills food is nasty now so this is the go to now!

Food was pretty good. Meat was very tender and potato salad had a good taste. Not a fan of the barbecue sauce though. If you ever had Chops Specialty Meat’s boudin in Broussard, the taste is similar.
