Mike was our server at the bar and he definitely made our brunch a whole experience! We had a little misunderstanding about seating after being on wait list a little over thirty minutes but the manager was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were good to go (hence the 4 start vs 5) , but she was very accommodating. Mike served us , made our drinks and placed our food orders. We had good conversation and the food was REALLY good. Would definitely return and sit at the bar with Mike as my server!

The breakfast place was decent, but the up and down stairs seating made it feel chaotic. The upstairs staff seemed inexperienced in the serving industry. The food was alright, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, the ambiance was lacking, with simple tables and chairs and no particular theme. Overall, it was just okay, and there are plenty of other options in the area to consider.

The staff was extremely welcoming and nice. The food was excellent and came out timely. I would easily go back to this spot.

Visited the toastery for the first time and the food was fresh and well prepared. Unfortunately, the customer service was not equal. The gal who greeted those who were inquiring about putting their names on the list were locked out of the building after a certain point. I could assume due to being understaffed as there were still tables open and available. When in the customer service industry, while yes it can be tiresome and repetitive, it’s better to great those at the door and express your apologies that the restaurant is closed and unable to serve them at this time. If they are willing to put their name on the list to wait xx minutes, they could, but at this time they aren’t accepting patrons. Lastly, the wait staff was promptly but lacked personality which could have been a direct result of being over worked and understaffed.

Oh this spot has quickly become a regular for me. I low the view of the boardwalk. The servers are so friendly. I love that you have the option to pay online from your seat using your receipt. The drinks are great and the food is delicious!! I have been at least 4 times and it never disappoints. You do need to get there early of you want a seat with a view. You can request to sit at the patio but in my opinion, it’s not as kept as the indoors seating so of you don’t mind a little dust or so wobbly tables have at it! I am a big fan of the strawberry cream cheese stuffed French toast and this delicious Hawaiian paradise champagne beverage.

Very good little place for breakfast. Coffee was good as well. They had to evacuate the building for a fire alarm today, and they got back up and running after that issue in no time. No wait on a busy Saturday morning. Prices were awesome, too. Breakfast for two for 30 bucks.

We picked Famous Toastery for breakfast just based on reviews. The food was good, although a bit pricey. I understand it is in the uptown section of Charlotte, so maybe that is why. The place was hopping at 8:30 on a Sunday. I had the Greek omelet with grits and sourdough. Grits were a bit runny, but had a good flavor. My daughters had the avocado toast (loved the goat cheese on it!) and the sunrise burrito (subbed pepper jack cheese for the brie that was listed on the menu). Wait staff was wonderful and attentive.

Great food at an affordable price. I usually order the pancakes with eggs and I am never disappointed. If you are driving you have to pay for parking, but the service and food are worth it.

First time trying this restaurant. Saturday morning. Wait time was less than what they said. 15 minutes not 25. I had the BEST Bloody Mary ever. Their mix is incredibly fresh, not sweet, not too hot, perfect. Western Omelette has nice chunks of ham.
