Wonderful vibes. Drinks and dessert were the best parts! Food was fresh and the service was awesome. The menu I researched online was much different from the menu options. Menu was more conservative than I anticipated. I’d come back here and sit at the bar. Worth a try! Beautiful views behind the building. Great date night spot.

This was our 1st time visiting Fancy’s Fish House. I must say it was a pleasant visit! My family and I came for brunch after church it was eleven of us and they accommodated us without any issues. The hostess Maddie was very friendly. The manager Marcus made sure we were set very quickly he also checked on us throughout our visit. Mary was our waitress she made great food suggestions, made sure our drinks were topped at all times. Service was excellent we all were satisfied. The atmosphere was really nice also, would make a great spot for date night. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Never posted a Google review before but I had to for this experience. Was wanting to try this place for a while and the overall experience here was terrible. First off, $33 for this seafood “platter” is almost insulting to customers. To charge that amount for a single piece of catfish, three shrimp, and barely a handful of fries is outrageous. On top of that, our waiter was non-existent and we asked on three separate occasions for extra condiments or to even refill the water and after we had finished eating he asked me “Was I supposed to bring you something?”. This place is a sad, overpriced excuse for a seafood restaurant and you couldn’t pay me to go back.

First time going to Fancy’s and had an excellent experience. Valet took care of our parking upon arrival. We had a reservation and were sat quickly upon arrival. Ambience was very nice and the noise level was moderate. I had the smoked pineapple margarita with the salmon and side of mac n’ cheese. Everything was excellent. Also tried the Cajun pasta which was very good size.

On Sunday was his off day, so he wanted to get out and enjoy the weather. Downtown Memphis was the perfect option to do that and also walk around. We stumbled upon a new restaurant during our walk, and he wanted to dine and give them a try. The ambiance inside was just as breathtaking as their patio outside. Even in the daytime, the inside was dimly lit, so we chose to move and eat on the patio. After dinner, it was nightfall, and indoors was very bright, so I snagged several pictures. The maitre d’ prior to us leaving saw me taking pics and instantly stated that they also had a private dining area. I couldn’t help but capture that lovely dining experience, too. Our waiter was extremely attentive to us and the other tables. My meal was great, and the corn hush puppies were bright and airy like cake, not gritty, and the crabcakes were divine. Might I also add that the view dining on the patio, accommodated by nice weather, was perfect to eat and look at the mighty Mississippi River.

Decided to go here with a visiting friend and so glad we did. The food was so good and portioned very well. The servers were really nice and the mimosa tower was also a good touch. I def will be back.

I definitely recommend Fancy’s!! The lobster bisque was wonderful, the fish and chips were so crispy, well seasoned, light, and not fishy at all. My husband had the cobia chef’s special, which he said the fish was really good, the mushrooms were also good, but the potatoes needed seasoning. The only complaint I have is the bottom of one of a glass was really dirty and gross looking. I didn’t say anything to them because there wasn’t anything to be done about it, but I did get pretty grossed out by it. Everything else was very clean and the atmosphere was SO cute. The service was outstanding!! Our waitress was above and beyond. We will be back!!

Fancy’s is a must try!! The atmosphere is top tier and the service is even better. The complimentary valet is always the PERFECT solution for downtown hectic parking. The drinks weren’t as strong as most 5 star restaurants are but the flavor was delicious. I really enjoyed the gumbo. It was seasoned perfectly and had the right amount of seafood inside. The crab cakes and the fish and chips were fresh and fried perfectly. Even the fries were seasoned well. I will definitely be back! It’s an upscale restaurant so dressing up is preferred in my opinion. The reservations book up quickly so it’s best to plan ahead.

I took my father out for Father’s Day and we had a lovely time. Daniel was our server and he was engaging, knowledgeable about the menu options and was able to take my dad’s banter. The food was delicious and filling. I had the shrimp and grits (without the sausage), sautéed spinach (too salty) and toasted sourdough bread. My dad had seared salmon and oysters. The drinks were just right and the atmosphere was bright and open with the window walls. Parking is valet or you can find a near by pay to park lot about a block away. There’s construction going on near the restaurant, but once I maneuvered through that I had an enjoyable time with my dad.
