Scratch made & intimate restaurant. If you’re in a rush it’s in your best interest to order ahead of time. Wings are amazing. Roasted to perfection and well seasoned. I’m no waffle enthusiast but they were good. Now I do consider myself a mac n cheese connoisseur.. honestly their mac didn’t do it for me. While I was waiting for my food there were a dozen people who came in for cheesecake. So if that’s your jam then I would suggest stopping by for a slice.

Our new favorite Memphis spot. The chicken & waffles are easily the best we’ve had! The service and ambience was A-1. Then we had the cheesecake if you’re on a diet, you need to lower your level of give a damn and enjoy a couple of slices of heaven! We’ll definitely be back each Memphis visit. Thank you for your attention to detail with the Cocoa butter lotion in the bathroom, gotta stay moisturized with the good stuff.

Today I discovered Fannie Lou’s and was not disappointed. Travis was our server AND chef and he deserves more than 5 ⭐️!! He was super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the best service I’ve had in a long time! I ordered the Praline Crusted Chicken tenders and not only was the portion generous, chicken succulent & sauce finger-licking good, there is some kinda ✨magic seasoning✨ in the waffle batter—it was delightfully crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The greens? Legit. A scrumptious combination of heat & sweet with just enough broth to keep them traditional but not soggy or overcooked. Looking forward to more meals here!

I love how intimate this space is, there’s a nice ambience. Real southern cooking … presentation always gives. The first time I visit this new location I saw a plate of chicken and waffles, I wish I ordered some that day y’all…but I came for cheesecake that day so I said next time, hence now…I hate I didn’t have time to take a picture of my food to show you guys but it’s gone. The guy at the front is always pleasant. Hate I don’t have his nane. Wings are a pretty nice size for party and the side of Greens ….gone… the first thing to go , that’s not sugar it’s crack just kidding the greens are really good though, I just need corn bread and yams now…I bet thanksgiving is bomb, any way…I order cheesecake from here when I have the occasional taste for it…cheesecake factory could never…Try any thing with cake and thank me later. The cheesecake brownie is very moist and decadent too.…I kind of wish I got a slice now that I’m thinking about it . I easily spend 30-50 bucks with no regret…good variety of bottled teas, local beer and wine. I appreciate the tiny desk concerts too..

Chef Kevin makes the best gourmet chicken and waffles..literally finger-licking amazing!! We also had the baked Mac n cheese and it was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Definitely a must try if you’re a local or visiting from out of town.We will surely be back for more.
