I order the orange chicken for about $20 and it was all breading and sauce, there was barely any chicken. The broccoli was cold. The rice tasteless. Worst meal I’ve had in the battery.

I did not look at reviews prior to eating at Fant’asia and I’m glad that I didn’t. My experience seemed to be much better than others who have written reviews recently. The food was very good and the service was great too. My food was brought out to my seat which was a nice touch in a food hall type setting. The portion size of the vegetable lo mein was huge and I brought home 3/4 of the plate. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is the crab Rangoon— there was not much filling so for the most part you are eating the wontons with the sauce. I would still come back for the lo mein though.

– I requested orange shrimp, which isn’t on the menu but the cashier was happy to do it for me for the same price as the orange chicken.

I chose to order General Tao’s chicken without reading the reviews The chicken was fried but fishy tasting , the broccoli was cold and uncooked and it was drenched in sauce. It was probably the worst meal I’ve had at the battery. The white steamed rice served on the side was honestly the better part of the meal but was very soggy. For $16 you would expect to get a better tasting dinner.

I made a decision to eat here as I was out and about in the Battery. I didn’t read the reviews first. Disgusting is an understatement. First bite was into COLD, like freezer cold broccoli. They didn’t bother to even warm it up. The inside of the egg rolls were mushy and the general tso chicken was super crunchy and flooded in sauce. The rice was edible but lacked flavor. Not worth $20, not worth any dollars!!! This food is in no way cooked fresh or even same day.

I ordered a broccoli beef plate. There was broccoli, carrots & green peas. The beef? Nowhere to be found. I asked the cashier if we could do something about it and the response was a bad attitude and to pay extra if i wanted more beef. It’s crazy for a $16 plate to not have the main ingredient.

We were in the mood for Chinese so we figured we’d give this place a try. The food was below average and the service was even below that. We definitely won’t be coming back.

I’m always looking for new places to eat Chinese wings, so I decided to try this spot that I found after searching “crispiest Chinese wings Atlanta.” It did not disappoint! They are a honey glaze that is a little bit spicy, and sooo crispy! I wasn’t planning on getting anything else, but when I saw the menu I had to! I got a hot and sour soup, which was both hot and spicy, great dark brown thick broth with tofu and big chunks of egg and water chestnuts. I also got the salt and pepper tofu. It was AMAZING. I am a fan of the style and have had it all over town and this is probably my 2nd favorite after SoBa now! Truly a hard title to earn! And the spice combination they put on top is just.. *chef’s kiss* I’ll be coming back often!

Overpriced and terrible customer service. There was a sign that had Salt Pepper Shrimp as today special… it was $18.99. Much higher than the other non special items smh. Not worth it.
