What an awesome restaurant!! I have been here twice. The first time was a great experience. The food is amazing!! The BBQ chicken with Steamed rice was absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere was not the same the second time we came. I think the owners should make sure to greet the guests and make them feel more welcome. That would be my only suggestion. Be more love. To the restaurant, to the customers. To everything. The place just needed a little more love. I will be back for more amazing food!! Thanks!

Far East serves great Vietnamese food consistently out of a lovely corner location next to the shops on Fatherland. The menu is quite varied. My top recommendation is the Spider Bowl a unique noodle dish with a full soft shell crab fried to perfection. The pho, spring rolls and ginger chicken rice bowls also deserve special mention. The portions are plenty to satiate hunger and the flavors are subtle and well considered unlike some other South East Asian locations that overpower everything with seasoning. This is also a great spot if on a vegetarian diet and there are vegan options as well for some dishes.

Vietnamese cuisine restaurant located in East Nashville with a sleek decor and music throughout. For appetizers, we ordered the spring rolls (nice flavor) and the Far East wings (crispy with a sweet and spicy but also funky fish sauce flavor that we know and love). The sweet/spicy fish sauce was a bit thin and could have been thicker to better coat the wings. Needless to say, that sauce is addictive.
