Patio evening. Wine on the wonderful patio accompanied by some tasty appetizers. We ordered the breaded as well as chicken fingers and a lavosch. We ordered the half lavosch as the schrooms and fingers are always plentiful when accompied by a bottle of wine and two extra classes full. Wait staff was excellent and met our every want and need. It did begin to cloud up and spit a little rain so we moved into a more tree covered area and stayed totally dry. Always a great place to meet and relax.

Our server was generally nice/the service was good. In terms of atmosphere, it definitely seemed more like a place for drinks at the bar or drinks and appetizers than a place for a nice dinner. The salad bar was off: the lettuce was maybe half good, and the rest of it was wilted or rotting; some of the veggies on the salad bar had also gone bad. The prime rib was not worth the money. It is COATED in black pepper (not mentioned anywhere on the menu), and there is no option for a piece without it. I cut off all the outside of my piece so I could get a bite without pepper, which left me with about 3-4 ounces of food. The potato was good. We wouldn’t go back.

Old traditional steakhouse. My sirloin was thick and perfectly cooked. The wine club was fun, too. You get a sample of a few wines, then choose a big glass of the one you liked best.

This used to be my last “go to spot” in Fargo/Moorhead because they could always cook the steak to perfection. The last two times I’ve been there it has been a random steak cooking generator. Order medium rare, receive well done.

Had never been here before – never will again. When we did see the waiter at the beginning to order, when our meal got delivered, and the check, was nice. However, this was the only time we ever saw the waiter again. The food was horrible. My wife and adult daughter ordered a prime rib. Both medium well; one came medium rare and the other one well done. Both were about a 1/4 inch thick and fatty and cold. Appeared to be warmed in a microwave. Believe it was like $34 each? Both ordered asparagus; both came rubbery and cold. I ordered ribs and made the mistake in not asking if beef or pork. Was beef. Worst ribs I have ever eaten. Then the fun part- the salad bar. Lighting was so poor we could not tell what we were putting on our plate. I made the mistake of having a large helping of the potato salad. It appeared to have mayonnaise or oil in it. We were there in a Friday night at 5:30 pm and it was a ghost town. Meal total for 3 was $126 without tip. Was in my garage and at 7 pm the stomach cramps instantly hit – I ran for the house entry door and bathroom; did not make it. 6 feet before the bathroom I soiled myself extensively and had to throw my cloths away. Went to Spitfire the next Friday and my wife and daughter had prime rib. Over an inch thick and cheaper than this palace. Was absolutely the opposite of this place. I had the pork ribs and was amazing. Was $4 cheaper than cork and cleaver and was I would say a 10 out of 10. This place should be lower if you could give less than 1. I believe I got food poisoning from eating at this place and will never, ever go back. I don’t understand how this place is still in business. Very disappointed. Go to Spitfire and get a very high quality meal for the same price!

If I can give a zero, I would. I was so disappointed. I am not from around this area and made reservations for a party of 10 to celebrate my child’s college graduation and Mother’s Day and another child’s birthday all in one.

We did a pick-up order for a party of 9. My hub and ordered pasta dinners because we knew it might cool in transit. Reasonable, of course. I got primavera; he, alfredo. My veggies were mushy. For $40, the pasta was very skimpy on both orders. Guessing about 1 1/4c each. Not impressed.

Happy hour is amazing especially if you’re there on Thursday night when they have an amazing musician, Ken Littlefield performing his acoustic memories show on the patio (or inside if the weather sucks)

Our steaks were weirdly grainy? No flavor, would have been best with steak sauce. Way way overpriced.
